Beautifully done cafe. A perfect place to catch up with friends or grab a bite by yourself to get by the mid week blues. Spacious, green and artsy space with lots of air.
Few things that can definitely be worked upon: Waiters, even though are very sweet and attentive, they have little to almost no knowledge about any dishes in the menu. I think a little training will go a long way. It’s literally their only job to understand the dishes in the menu and recommend or explain to the customers. I had to google all the fancy names in the menu to understand and decide.
We went on a Tuesday evening. And first 5 dishes we selected were not available. About 65% of the menu was not available only. It was quite a turnoff.
When waiters come to ask how the food is, a) they ask too soon as soon as the food is served. I had barely put it in my plate. Giving some time to eat first would be nice. And b) the question literally makes no sense because I can’t really explain the nuances to them. All I can say to them is that everything is good because they are too sweet and too untrained for a negative feedback. Or even a conversation about food. If you guys really want a feedback, either they should understand the dishes or maybe chef should come and ask himself. And honestly I’d like it better to be left alone while I eat. If something’s wrong, trust me, I’d let you know. Feedback should be asked once. In the end.
Few things that were amazing: Ambience was great. Tastefully done space. I would love to spend more evenings there.
Food was nicely done. Only thing available from our original selection was pineapple teriyaki chicken burger. It was big fat filling burger, patty was crispy, sides were nice, sauces were right. I enjoyed it thoroughly. But it was a regular chicken burger with pineapple teriyaki sauce on the side. The name was a little misleading I feel. I was expecting the chicken to be cooked in teriyaki sauce or something. Other 2 dishes we ordered were outside of the menu and based on waiter’s recommendation because what we originally selected wasn’t available. One was spaghetti pasta (pretty traditional recommendation) in white sauce with Parmesan cheese and lots of Italian herbs. I had one bite and would pass it. Other was some soya based starter. Again out of menu. Don’t remember the name but it was nice. Melted in the mouth. Side sauces combination...

Read moreThis place has well curated decor. We went out during the afternoon and it wasn't crowded then. The menu had less options. We ordered cold coffee, pulled pork burgers and fried calamari. They said the coffee was complimentary. The burgers were good and fulfilling with potato wedges on the side, but we felt they were not worth the cost of ₹550 per burger. They levied sgst and cgst of 9% each. On query , the waiter said that is the tax as per the establishment. In other restaurants we have visited so far we have only paid tax of 2.5% each for cgst and sgst, so it was confusing. Anyway, it was...
