Today I visited the dominos in Tarapur, Silchar. And let me tell you something. The place is cheating its customers. What happened was there were a few people ahead of us and all the orders they took they didn't ask for the customer's phone numbers. As it is known that each order you make you're gifted 100 points on each order but for that you need to give your phone number so the points are transferred to your dominos account. Anyway, when it was our turn the cashier didn't ask for my phone number either while taking the order either. And just handed me the bill... I didn't think much of it until my friend saw on the bill that there were 100 points being credited to someone but it was not to my number... When we pointed this out to the cashier she said there must've been a mistake since the number was not given... Yes there could be a mistake but if the number was not given then there should be no points being credited... Why did the bill show that points are being credited. So my friend asked to make another bill or cancel our order and put it in again which the staff said cannot be done.. then the cashier called another person. After our interaction with this next person, it only left us angrier... When we said that the points didn't credit to our account then she said that it will be credited the next time we make an order.. we are not stupid... The next time we make an order we will have to pay for it again and then the points will be credited for that order... Not the one we made... The points we were supposed to get for this order will not be credited... So out of frustration we said to let it be and went and sat down at our bench and started looking for customer service number online to lodge a complaint. While we were doing so one of the staff came up to us and offered us to order a new pizza for free from his account where he had managed to collect enough points to get a free pizza... We said no because it wasn't his fault but he insisted and we got a free pizza.
I understand that this was just an attempt to silence us at that moment because all the people that had ordered before us had also not given their phone number either and maybe the entire day the people there had been doing the same thing. And I also noticed that the cashier who took our order... She had a paper sheet where there were a bunch of phone numbers written... So it means that instead of asking customers for their phone numbers the staff members were putting their phone numbers for the orders and receiving all the points that are rewarded on each order... That is a very shady thing to do... You're basically stealing from all your customers at this point. I am never visiting this place again and would also recommend others to not visit this dominos either.
We had received a free pizza for their "mistake" but I think we all know that it wasn't a mistake and was done deliberately. If we hadn't noticed then they would've probably continued with this scheme... And maybe they did continue with this after we left.. we do not know... That's all I have to say and leave this review as a warning to other customers that even if you do visit this place make sure you're getting what...
Β Β Β Read moreI recently visited this place and while I must say the food was quite good and tasted fresh, the overall experience was disappointing due to the poor service. As soon as I arrived, I noticed that the staff didnβt seem attentive or interested in taking orders. I had to wait for more than 15 minutes just to get someoneβs attention and place my order, even though the restaurant wasnβt extremely crowded at the time.
After finally placing the order, I expected the service to improveβbut unfortunately, that didnβt happen. It took more than an hour for my food to be prepared and served, which was extremely frustrating. During this time, the staff did not provide any updates or apologies for the delay. Their attitude came across as unprofessional and careless.
Itβs really unfortunate because the food itself was enjoyable, and the ambiance of the place was decent. However, the lack of proper customer service overshadowed the good aspects. I hope the management seriously looks into training their staff to be more attentive and responsive. If the service improves, this place could actually be a great...

I had a very disappointing experience at the Domino's outlet in Silchar Tarapur (India Club). I went there today with my friends to order a pizza, but the staff at the counter did not treat us with basic respect. Just because we were dressed in simple clothes and ordered a low-priced pizza, they behaved rudely and ignored our questions. When we asked if there were any affordable pizza options, they either said no or simply didnβt respond.
At the same time, they were talking very politely and nicely with people who were dressed well and seemed rich. This kind of discrimination is extremely unfair and unacceptable. Everyone deserves to be treated equally, no matter what their background is or what they wear. Iβve also heard many other complaints about this store from other people.
I hope Domino's management takes this seriously and trains their staff to treat every customer...
