I’m writing to formally complain about a very poor experience at your Paltan Bazaar outlet in Guwahati. I’m deeply disappointed — both by the quality of the food and the unprofessional behavior of one of your staff members, Minati.
Firstly, the food I was served was far below acceptable standards. The chicken was cold and lacked freshness, especially the fries, which were over-fried and tasted like they had been cooked in overused oil. Clearly not up to the mark for a brand like KFC.
When I raised the issue at the counter, instead of assisting me, Minati told me to go back to my table, bring the fries back to her, and only then would she “check” if there was actually a problem. I found this completely absurd — as a customer, it is not my job to prove the food is bad. Isn’t it her responsibility to check and resolve customer concerns in a respectful and prompt manner?
Her attitude was dismissive and condescending throughout. She made no effort to resolve the issue courteously, and it felt like she simply didn’t care whether the customer was satisfied or not.
This kind of behavior reflects very poorly on the KFC brand. As a paying customer, I expect basic respect and quality — neither of which was delivered. I hope serious action is taken against this kind of customer service negligence and that your outlet is reminded of the standards...
Read moreHorrific experience we (me & my wife) encountered today at KFC. We ordered the peri peri 8 pc boneless meal including 2 dips (price ₹369 excl. GST), single chicken roll (price ₹99 excl. GST) and 2 krush lime soda (price ₹99 excl. GST). The total comes 616 (incl. GST).
The bill came around ₹776. They charged me with 2 extra dips, addon regular fries, pepsi(krush lime) and extra cheese. Upon asking, the biller told me that all was explained to me during billing.
Ok after paying with cash ₹1006, he gave me ₹200 and told me they'll provide the remaining balance after completing the food.
So after completing our food, we went to the counter to collect our balance. We waited for at least 35 minutes to receive the same. Just terrible!!
They'll confuse you with words and loot your money and you'll think it's just ₹50-100. Why fight for that!!! I am considering at least 50 people dine here daily at this outlet, which means they are looting ₹2500-5000 approx (could be even more than that) on a daily basis. JUST IMAGINE!!!
Haven't faced any kind of problems on other KFCs.

Firstly, there is no air conditioning in the entire restaurant, making it extremely uncomfortable to sit in, especially during hot days. To make matters worse, there's no washroom facility, which is unacceptable for a food establishment.
The food itself was disappointing – the chicken I was served was undercooked and raw inside, posing a serious health risk. The Pepsi I ordered tasted like it had been diluted with water. For a place that offers self-service, there was no screen to indicate when the order was ready, causing confusion. The self-ordering kiosk was also not functioning, forcing everyone to wait in long lines.
The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, and the premises were dirty. Overall, this location needs serious improvements in both its service and cleanliness. Avoid this place...
