I have been meaning to go to this place for a while now a lot of my friends have recommended this place to me but I was surprised when an uncle of mine also recommended it to me. We started our meal with their dry fry chicken and obviously with their famous veg momos(absolute killer) and also some chicken momos just for the comparison, and turns out people where right there veg momos were amazing but in no way there chicken momos were any less their chicken momos are probably better than 90 percent of their compitition. Coming to their main course the chicken bharta, butter chicken, karahi chicken are the showstopper, add them with some garlic butter naan or some jeera rice and you won't be able to stop yourself from licking your fingers. And their naan turnovers how can I forget, you have got to try them absolutely amazing.
Coming to their service and the staff which I think is one of the most important things when you are dining-in, we made some pretty unusual requests and they always were there with a smile and very respectful. The service and staff were just as amazing as their food. I would highly recommend this place, and if you are at this place veg momos and naan turnovers are...

Read moreWalking through the streets of Paltan Bazar, the sign outside the Masala Wok might seen inconspicuous, mundane even. You walk in and the joint is a melange of decorations, with Bollywood playing in the background. As you take your seat and start flipping through the iconic orange-colored menu, it seems familiar. An eclectic selection of Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes. However the owner’s recommendation is one you won’t find in many restaurants around town, if any. I ordered it swiftly and the dish arrived — two half-moon-shaped pieces of naan, the butter glistening its surface. A truly delicious and silky chicken curry covered the insides of the naan, topped with cheese!! The dish called — naan turnover. Ridiculously good and heart-stoppingly flavorful. We quickly ordered other dishes as well — chowmein, honey-glazed chicken and more — each better than the previous dish. ALL OF THAT FOR LESS THAN 700 RUPEES. As a food enthusiast, I have to say the Masala Wok is a gem in the city, and you must visit it once...
