What a hidden treasure! Mirso Hemtap Five minutes walk from the Kaziranga National Orchid Park ticket counter

Rustic eating, with the most delicious and unusual preparations. I'm guessing super traditional/indigenous type cooking. Everything over a woodfire, so the food has wonderful charcoal taste. It's worth waiting a bit longer to have the rice specially made in bamboo. - the texture and aroma makes it unique rice eating experience. Each veg and chicken dish was absolutely divine. Simple but extremely fresh ingredients, clearly just picked from the neighbouring gardens - made us all very happy.

We had a Karbi thali and bamboo chicken. Each and every item was very authentic and very tasty. Food was served on natural turmeric leaves, in bamboo bowls and glasses. The pricing was absolutely cheap. Quantity of food very good. Best of all I liked the little bamboo shacks where we had the lunch. Behaviour of the staff is very friendly and cordial. The ambience is awesome facing the Orchid garden and the Karbi hills. All in all a wonderful experience saying yeh dil...

The place is really a hidden gem near orchid park. Situated near the bamboo park which is also a great place to visit. Mostly people do not come upto there. The ethnic food found there is very tasty.
