Food depends from person to person... So here is my take... I heard from many this place is too good so as a foodie I hopped on the wagon.
Rice - They don't use long grain rice ... For of a medium size Aroma- Smells good Quantity - Enough for 2 people in 1 Egg - I ate chicken biriyani the normal one cost me 170 but no eggs ... Again depends from shop to shop Taste - They make a dry type of biriyani .. so go for a chaap , this biriyani doesn't have freshness ( since no fresh mint leaves or fresh coriander used)or something to cut the fat ... So after you have 6 to 8 spoons your mouth would be dry and heavy as expected from most of the biriyani chains in burdwan .. You will get a good amount of ghee smell since they don't compromise on this at least
Packaging - They use white plastic tiffin boxes .. no cardboard box . That's good since the fats don't get absorbed since their biriyani is already dry.
Complementary - Salad and Raita ( loved the raita for being sweet and compliments the biriyani ) So if you combine the biriyani with the sweet and sour raita your mouth doesn't become heavy as I mentioned before .. Smart play But I think it would be very nice of them if they could have increased the amount of raita since it is not enough looking at the quantity of the biriyani
Azmat is not the very best but not worst as some has mentioned.
If Azmat is seeing this please do something about the dryness if possible. That's all. I will try the tandoori biriyani once they...
Read moreAt 1st in burdwan there was a time when cheap and best had the best biriyani.. And after that azmat came.. And then it was the best biriyani possible in burdwan.. I was huge fan of their biriyani I have more than 200 jars of their biriyani and eating them for a long time. But today i had to write this review cuz it was the second time I had to face this nonsense.. There some staffs are not good at all more over they provide 2 pieces of chicken in 1 plate of their biriyani.. But they are now giving 1 piece and other are small pieces of chicken torn from a big piece ( ekdom jake tukro tukro bole serokom) And more over the biriyani was not at all fresh... I took it in night 8 pm but it was cooked in morning or a day before I am not sure and they were heating it in microwave and serving to people.. It tasted horrible not at all expected though today their owner was not present. I donot know if he knows or not but it should informed to him....
If they improve their this horrible thing then I recommend you should visit them.. One and last recommendation plss dont make it...
Read moreAn honest review:- Items ordered - 1 chicken bharta, 2 half chicken biryani. Bharta was fresh, for me this restaurant shall deal with reviews related to fresh & stale. Biryani was stale & of worst quality, even if someone does have a street biryani, wouldn't get pungent smelling sticky rice to their plate as this particular outlet is confidently serving such platters to their Swiggy customers. Once while passing by this restaurant, two questions stuck me:- 1. the restaurant is sufficiently spaced and well located 2. their established looked sober from outside. But lack of customer flow kept me guessing. Today i ordered, & got to know the reason. They sell stale biryani. Sticky rice, pungent smelling rice is what they delivered me over Swiggy. Please please stay away from azmat even if someone is least concerned about...
