But not only texture of Kulcha was worst but with plastic wires in it? Ordered veg hyderabadi but served A2B special why? Ordered plain Kulcha but served butter Kulcha? Non of the dishes were tasty except for Manchurian. Soup at home is much flavourful than they served their which was just corn, and sour in tomato soup! Service guy tried to argue with me... If one sentence, if he continued, I would have called food and safety then and there. Accidents happen, but arrogance and negligence? Could have taken photos as well.... I pay more because I want fresh clean and tasty. What's the point otherwise? Had lunch for three. Soup was just sour. Pudina paneer starter was good. Asked for veg hydaravadi gave A2B special biryani, didn't like the taste it wast just sweet. Curry was bad. Most importantly, Kulcha ordered gave butter Kulcha. Unfortunately there was a red thredy, plastic wire thread was there in the Kulcha. Showed it to them, confirmed but wasn't ready to accept. Didn't pay for one Kulcha but service guy was trying to convince without response. Neither tasty. Not at all clean in the kitchen. Too costly for quality and quantity. Overall, bad. But after paying in thousands and hundreds for single dish, they behave as if we eat for free or cleanliness or taste doesn't matter.... Worst experience. Should have showed through the picture...What is wrong with our food and safety system! Can adjust with ambience but not with their dirtiest food and average taste for the price paid... Cost is extreme for the quality...
Read moreI am a regular customer of this restaurant since 2017. Two week back,we had ordered a drink which was not available. However we were charged for the same. I asked them to cancel the bill amount along with the GST charged for the same. They made a hue and cry and got the server to apologize,when it was not his fault.He was not aware of the out of stock items. After which 26th Jan me with my children went to have breakfast. The guy at the counter rudely stopped me from entering the Non self service area and said I can sit at the self service area,"If I need Foos"!I was told no service was there in the other area. However I saw customers walking out of the Non self service area.I enquired about it with the counter guy and he said the Manager had asked him to Never allow me or my family to the Non self service area. I questioned the manager and he said he is sorry for this decision but do not inform the owners about it.I immediately left the restaurant half way through having my breakfast. All this for asking why they charged for a food we did not take? What is the audacity of a Restaurant Manager to stop customers from entering a restaurant,when we point out a wrong charge? Read moreI visited Adayar Ananda Bhavan in Vidyaranyapura (Bengaluru) recently. The food—chapati with kurma and a South Indian meal—was decent. However, I was overcharged due to a clear billing error: I was billed for a plain dosa instead of chapati, resulting in a ₹15 extra charge.
When I pointed out the mistake, the staff suggested I order a coffee to account for the extra ₹15—an unacceptable workaround. They then asked me to pay the full amount first, promising to refund the ₹15 in cash later. However, after I paid, nobody came back to resolve the issue for a long time.
When I finally approached the staff, they placed only ₹14 in coins on the table—without explanation—and walked away. I had to call them again to clarify that it wasn’t ₹15 but ₹14, at which point one staff member rudely handed me a ₹20 note and told me to keep the change. This was extremely disrespectful, especially considering that the billing error was entirely their mistake, and yet I faced rude, unprofessional behavior throughout.
Overall, while the food was acceptable, the service was disgraceful—marked by negligence, dishonesty, and outright rudeness from the staff. I expected much better from this well-known chain. A completely...
