I went to this shop today … They have increased the price of dosa to 50 rs and charging rs 5 for packing per piece .. Seems little over priced and making extra money by taking 5 rs packing charge …
The shop and food is good .. price is reasonable. What I hate is , they charge for even parcel small box @ rs 3… I’m sure the there are making 3 times profit there and also paper bag they charge rs 10. By doing this they are making huge profit from non food items .. this is bad and looting I feel … Reduce the package charge please especially the useless paper bag .. you sell cloth bag at rs 10 like all MRP liquor outlet does ..
Reply to Owner: Seems little angry on your reply .You Gave me paper bag earlier. I appreciate if you sell it for 55 for dosa and make it free . Even if I bought casserole of own .. still I paid means its bad. And do you think 5 rs needed for a small container for chutney. If you think so , i can find vendors for you for cheaper rates. Your model should change .. charge 55 .. no issue .. but don’t charge for every packing material . Since I’m Also a person who know this business well.. commented so.. it is to increase your business and attitude .. not for making frustrated comments .. people now a days matter google reviews. Me go to a shop based on that . In current scenario , I prefer Sreekrishna Upahar than your shop .. it’s as simple as that .. good food and lowest price and straight to the point .. no...
Read moreOne fine evening I was walking around Nanjappa Circle and saw Celebrities who were inaugurating this fine hotel. Luckily this caught my attention and I thought I could give it a try. I wouldn't say that this is very spacious, but adequate enough to have a quick bite. The hotel looks good and it is maintained in a proper condition.
When you look at the menu, you may not find varieties of delicacies, but whatever they have included in the menu was exquisite. Best pick from the menu would be Masala Dosa (₹25). The dosa had perfect crisp to it and it will be served with coconut chutney. The 2nd best pick would be Idly-Vada. I need to tell you that this is the 2nd best vada I have ever had after Taaja Thindi, Jayanagar. It was crispy and it was perfectly deep fried. Other honorable mentions are Bonda soup, Khara bath and Kesri bath. Occasionally you will also get Shaavige and a rice bath.
They also have a combo meal called "Maja combo" (which is Masala dosa and a coffee at ₹30). The coffee was typical south India coffee. Once you have coffee, you will definitely come back to have it again.
I have tried almost all items here and this placed was filled with people every time I was here. In a very short time, this place successfully managed to get the attention of the people and I can easily say that you get the best bang for the...
Read moreWhen majaa thindi opened a few years ago it was like a breathe of fresh air for many of us who eat out frequently. Food was tasty at reasonable price. Within a year plus the hygiene standards of this eatery started dipping down. People serving food and handling food and the cooks were least bothered about cleanliness. This eatery has moved to a new location near but grounds a few months ago. Hygiene standards have not improved. People serving good are horribly dressed and look unclean. A few thousand rupees spent on good clean t shorts or uniform is dire need of the hour. A glance at the kitchen reveals that cleanliness needs focus. They have announced avarekkalu habba. The food served is tasty but does not have much avarekkalu ( as displayed near the cashier). Overall bad experience. Can do much better. I am a well wishes of this eatery and want it to improve. Pl take this...
