I recently visited A2B Hotel near BTM Udupi Garden, and I am extremely disappointed with the dishonest practices I encountered. The menu clearly listed the prices as follows: Idli (2) - â‚č45, Medu Vada (1) - â‚č45, and Puri (2) - â‚č70. However, when I received the bill, I was charged â‚č100 for Idli and Vada and â‚č80 for Puri. When I inquired about the discrepancy, the staff casually mentioned that it was a "service charge" that they added without listing it on the bill. This is a blatant violation of consumer rights. As per the Indian Constitution and the Consumer Protection Act, businesses are required to display all charges transparently. Hidden charges are illegal, and customers have the right to be informed of any additional costs before they make a purchase. The practice of including hidden service charges in the bill without prior notice or listing them separately is deceptive and unacceptable. I urge fellow customers to be cautious when dining here and to double-check their bills. This kind of unethical behavior should not be tolerated. We, as consumers, must stand up for our rights and hold businesses accountable for unfair practices. I hope the management at A2B Hotel will take this feedback seriously and rectify their billing practices immediately.

If you truly love testing your patience and leaving your self-respect at the door, A2B BTM 1st Stage is the place to be! Took my family with 3 kids, walked in with hopes of a decent meal
silly me. We were graciously gifted a 20-24 minute wait at the table — not a single soul bothered to ask if we existed. It’s like we unlocked the invisibility achievement. Finally, His Highness the “Manager” strolls over after two decades (or maybe just 20 minutes, but who’s counting?) and casually asks us to wait just 2 more minutes. I politely ask for the menu — he majestically nods and vanishes like a magician. 5 minutes later, he returns to break the news: “No South Indian Meals after 3 PM.” Brilliant. Quick online check shows — guess what — it’s available in the same restaurant. I tell him. His solution? “Sir, please order online.” Absolutely legendary customer service! And all this in their so-called AC dining section. Truly premium treatment for people who enjoy being ignored. Summary: Want to lose your time, patience, and dignity? A2B BTM 1st Stage awaits. Or better yet, keep your self-respect safely outside before you enter.

This restaurant (the fine dine section which is on first floor) is utter joke! The waiters have some strange attitude. Secondly you are not allowed to share your thali with your kid. Had been there for lunch today, since the waiter very rudely denied to share, i had no option but to order rava onion dosa and pav bhaji for me. Onion uttapa or dosa was still better in taste and full marks to the sambar served with it. But that pav bhaji which they mention as ‘masala pav bhaji’ is utter garbage! Coming from Mumbai where you get authentic flavoursome pav bhajis even as street food, this was big put off. There wasnt great taste, the bhaji wasn’t mashed, the pav wasn’t toasted properly and if you happen to order extra pav you need to say one pav and they give two pavs! So confusing!! Also check the photo for the extra onions they gave, they were not even chopped!! So firstly the waiters should learn fine dine hospitality and then work here!! Visit only if you might want to try typical south indian food else get some fruits and survive!! Never visiting this one again!!

Here’s your final review with that detail included:

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the service was practically nonexistent. They didn’t even bother serving me water, and my presence wasn’t acknowledged for a full 10 minutes—and even then, only because I had to wave down a waiter myself.

After finally placing my order, the food took another 10 minutes to arrive, which I could tolerate if the service wasn’t already so abysmal. While the food itself wasn’t bad, the service completely ruined the experience.

When I needed a rice refill, no one was attending my table. I had to wave at multiple waiters, and it still took 5 minutes for one to finally respond. After asking for the refill, the waiter vanished for another 5 minutes, only for another one to come back empty-handed to inform me that they had run out of rice.

Seriously? If you can’t provide rice for your so-called unlimited meals, then why accept my order in the first place? I would have happily ordered something else if they had just been upfront about it.

And to make things worse, they still charged me the full price for the unlimited meal—even though I didn’t get the full unlimited experience. This is completely unacceptable and feels like a scam.

I was actually having a great day until this point, and I didn’t want to spoil my mood, so I just walked away without causing a scene. But honestly, this restaurant doesn’t deserve a second chance.

This was one of the worst service experiences I’ve had. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values even basic...

Hi myself sathyanarayanan.I went to the nearest A2B veg restaurant located in (WJ85+QR2, Outer Ring Rd, Aicobo Nagar, 1st Stage, BTM 1st Stage, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560029) to have my lunch. We went for the dine-in service in the first floor and waited for around 15 mins. But nobody was come and ready to take the order even they didn't gave any menu card also. That time the crowd also not that much. Finally I walked to the billing counter and asked can someone take the order or should I need to go down for self service and a guy said that I'll come. After he came to my desk. I asked him that i waited for around 15 min why no one is came and he replied that not 15 min it's 7 min only that i know. So give me your order now if you keep on discuss about this both our time will waste. After that i told my order that too arrived after 10 mins only. I asked the who is the manager and he said that I'm the manager named (KHALESH). I absorbed for sometime that he is showing attitude only to me. He speaks politely with other people. The way he talked with me rouge. I guess everyone in that restaurant pay amount ultimately then why the hell there is a partiality. This thing need to be get resolved. We are completely fed up about this incident. Hopefully A2B wants to concentrate on their employees who directly deal with customers instead of quantity and quality of food. I feel that is...
