“Very Bad Buffet Experience – Waste of Money”

I went to this buffet in Nagavara thinking I’ll enjoy some good Andhra food, but it was a big mistake.

Baby corn chilli was cold and had no taste. It felt like it was made hours ago and just thrown on the counter.

Gobi Manchurian was too hard to chew. It looked red, but there was no proper flavor. Just fried for namesake.

Paneer Biryani was the biggest disappointment. It was dry, no spice, no smell, and the paneer was hard like rubber. It didn’t feel like biryani at all.

Roti was not fresh. It was cold and tough like plastic. Not at all soft or warm.

Veg curry was very watery and tasteless. It looked like they mixed all leftover vegetables and served it.

Nothing was tasty. I didn’t enjoy even one item. Total waste of money. Please avoid if you love good food.

Located near Manyata Tech Park, Andhra Biryanis serves some flavorful Andhra-style biriyanis. Though the entrance is small and the restaurant is on the second floor, the food makes up for it.

We visited on a Saturday lunch and tried: Andhra Special Boneless Chicken Biryani — good portion of chicken, subtle in taste. Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani — flavorful, worth a try. Gongura Paneer Biryani — way too tangy, not for everyone. Mushroom Dum Biryani — decent quantity, but taste could be better. Paneer Dum Biryani — surprisingly good, a must-try for vegetarians.

Downsides: Location: It’s tucked inside a narrow street with no proper parking. Waiting time: Took 30 minutes to get our food, which felt too long for a not-so-crowded place.

I ordered Family Pack Andhra Special Boneless Chicken biriyani for lunch today through Swiggy. After opening the package I can see only Biriyani rice without any single piece of Chicken, only one egg. The price was around 700 rupees. My family lunch was ruined today. Worst lunch. I am thinking how come they forget to pack chicken with biriyani, it is special family pack biriyani, not a single piece of chicken. Whenever I ordered Biriyani, I ordered only from Andhra Biriyani. Never expected like this. For Sure I will think about before ordering next time, may be I won't order from this Restaurant...
