Kuttanad Restaurant - A blessing for keralites around Manyata techpark. If you are looking for traditional kerala foods like Kerala meals, Fish Fry, Biriyani, Kerala porotta, chicken roast etc then this is the best option for you. Tasty kerala food at a reasonable price and friendly staffs. We will feel like we are back at Kerala. Went there many times, but sharing only few photos from them as we forgot to take the photos most of the time. We tried so many dishes from them like Kerala meals, Anchovy fry, Ayala fry, Neymeen pollichath, chicken biriyani, chicken pothi biriyani, chicken kappa biriyani, chicken puttu biriyani, Kerala porotta, appam, chicken roast, chicken ghee roast, Fried rice etc and some breakfast items like masala dosa, puttu, kadala, idiyappam, etc. All the dishes are really good and that is the reason we are visiting Kuttanad again and again. They have a cafe also with the name 'Samavor Cafe' along with Kuttanad from where we can have tea, coffee, boost etc with variety of malabar snacks (Chicken pathiri, Pazham nirachath, mutta baji, neyyappam, parippu vada, pazham pori, elanchi etc). I recently revisited Kuttanad Restaurant after a long break and found that while the setup has changed and looks quite decent, the overall experience was a bit underwhelming. We went for lunch on a busy Sunday noon, and although the place was crowded, we were promptly seated after a brief 10-15 minute wait. However, the meal itself was a letdown. The taste of the vegetarian meals had changed drastically from what I remembered. Kuttanad used to be renowned for its delicious Kerala cuisine, but it seems that with increased business and profit, the quality of the food has suffered. This was particularly disappointing, as many patrons, including myself, come here craving authentic and flavorful Kerala dishes. Other items we tried were just okay—nothing stood out as exceptional or worth a second visit. It’s unfortunate to see a place with such potential fall short in delivering the taste that once made it a favorite. I hope the management takes this feedback to heart and works on restoring the quality that originally set...

AFFORDABLE AND TASTY!!

The two of us went here for dinner yesterday which was quite affordable and tasty. ₹254 for the two!

The restaurant serves predominantly Kerala dishes. We got ourselves the below things;

✅Kerala Parota - It was served hot and was well cooked. ✅Wheat Parota - Hot and properly cooked. ✅Chicken Varattiyathu - Essentially a type of chicken curry, serves you 3 pieces and curry. Enough for 1 person. ⛔️Egg Bhurji - Average in taste, could be better ⛔️Idiyappam - Good in taste but was cold. I’m not sure how it’s supposed to be, but feel it should be served hot.

The place gives you value for money and taste. Service at the restaurant was awesome. The ambience and cleanliness is average, but won’t matter if you are looking for a pocket friendly place.
