Bread Crumbs Bakery — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I have been frequenting this bakery for a year or so. Their bakery items are tasty and worth the price but they terribly disappointed me regarding a cake I ordered. Despite enquiring multiple times with the owner and the workers , they have baked a birthday cake with a height that would require a butcher’s knife to cut. I requested for a 6 kg 1st yr bday cake. Gave them the design. Advised them that height of the cake should be 5-6 cm . They showed me the size of the base for such a cake which I approved. But once we came to collect the cake , on the birthday, the workers have taken the liberty to use a smaller base since they did not have the one that they showed me and made a cake with a height of almost 20 cm. I mean I have never seen such a tall 1 tier cake ever! And they being “professional” bakers, did not have the sense of calling up to clarify if it’s ok to increase the height of the cake. Overall a disaster . The owner has left the bakery to set of workers who do not understand basic...

After I tried this place I did not feel the need to look for another bakery. I have been ordering every family member's birthday cake from here over the last 3+ yrs. Bakeries around this area open and close but no threat to them. Prominent location, very sorted owner, puffs and rainbow cakes are amazing, and they have an array offerings across genres. Reasonably priced, good quality and almost everything can be prepared in 24 hours. They do not deliver and are very candid about how your order will last the journey if you need to travel some distance with a multi layered cake for example. They are the best in Vijaya Bank...

I recently ordered a barbie birthday cake for my daughter, but what arrived was a surprise - the cake was a different color than what I had ordered! It totally ruined the special day for us because the cake wasn’t going well with the Barbie themed decoration. I placed order for pink and hot pink but they sent pink and peach colour cake. Moreover when I complained them they didn’t even recognise the issue and denied their mistake altogether. Also the Barbie logo was also dissatisfactory.
