Since the place isn't found easily the footfalls are low, whenever we visited it is either fully empty or one other table was occupied, the taste & service is good but prices are in the higher side in comparison to other Udupi restaurants in the vicinity.
The owner must think about revising prices so that he can attract more crowd.
Sad to see a restaurant with such good taste on brink of getting shut.
One manchow soup and one paneer tikka brought the bill to 332, the same would cost 180-200 in other nearby restaurants.
Writing this review so that the owner takes it seriously and tries to fix the problem. Demanding premium prices should come after the demand goes high, if prices are high from day 1 then the hotel may not succeed.
Edit: if people really came from various places the restaurant should have been full, but that's not the case. There are restaurants in Bangalore which are hard to find but people strive to find and go there. The reason why I said price is high is i have seen the ecosystem of restaurants nearby and hence made this suggestion, the feedback is genuine, take it or leave it, you don't have to counter argue for everything, because I want good places to eat in my area, I am trying to give a genuine feedback, the food taste & quantity is decent and just...
Read moreWe have visited a Food Affair restaurant recently which is situated in BTM 4th stage. It is a Bollywood themed pure veg family restaurant, where you can grab a good and affordable lunch/dinner with your family.
First we ordered Tamatar Dhaniya Shorba soup that was hot and tasty. Then we ordered Khumbh Palak Ke Moti i.e basically Mushroom Tikka and Cheese Corn Ball. Mushroom Tikka was very tempting and delicious. Then we had Crispy chilly babycorn that totally justifies its name, it was very crispy and we liked it a lot. In the main course we ordered Paneer Lababdar along with Laccha Paratha and Cheese Garlic Naan. Paneer Lababdar was awesome in taste and presentation. Then we had Masala Pulao which was sort of rice fried with assorted vegetables. After that we concluded our dinner with Gulab Jamun. Restaurant owners were very friendly and staff were co-operative but service was slow as they were running with limited staff because of COVID which they are planning to scale up soon. If you are looking for a vegetarian option, I would definitely recommend you to...
Read moreI am looking for a pure veg north indian restaurant. I came across this restaurant on Zomato on Dineout section. At the time of booking, they are offering a 30% discount on dineout. I tried achari paneer tikka, butter naan, paneer chilli gravy, hyderabadi biryani, gazar halwa and all dishes were really good. The quantity is also enough for 2-3 people. The owner is friendly and sweet. The staff's service is also fast. The price is standard but you can look for Zomato/Swiggy for dineout offers. Achari paneer tikka is also nice and soft and fresh. Butter naan is soft, paneer chilli gravy is thick and spicy and hyderabadi biryani is full of green vegetables and cashews served with raita. For dessert, we tried gazar ka halwa which is perfectly cooked and garnished with dry fruits. We enjoyed perfect sunday lunch here. They are also playing bollywood & old songs which makes the dining experience nice. It's a little hard to find a good pure veg north indian restaurant with reasonable prices in Bengaluru but this place is good for...
