Extremely Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend

We visited this restaurant with high hopes, consciously choosing it over another well-known Gujarati place. Unfortunately, the entire experience turned out to be a major letdown.

To begin with, most of the classic Gujarati items we went for were not available. We tried ordering fafda jalebi – not available. Then tried for khichu – not available. Even a basic masala papad was a disaster – what we got was a tiny papad (barely the size of a palm) overloaded with green chilies, making it nearly inedible.

The final straw was the Sev Tomato dish. What we received was nothing more than a bland tomato curry topped with store-bought fiki Haldiram sev. Absolutely no authenticity or flavor – this was not the Gujarati Sev Tomato we know.

To add to it, we initially placed an order which never arrived. Only after 20 minutes did the waiter realize he never told the chef. While this was frustrating, in hindsight, it was a blessing – we were able to cancel the order and save ourselves from yet another disappointing dish.

And honestly, the biggest red flag should’ve been visible the moment we walked in – on a Sunday afternoon, the restaurant was completely empty, not even the staff seemed interested in being there.

All in all, this was a regrettable visit. The food lacked authenticity, availability was poor, and the service was careless. There are far better places around for Gujarati food – we will definitely not be returning here.

I have visited this resturant on 12th April 2025 and food was not at all Gujarati as being Gujarati I can relate it. I came to know that even Cook is from Bihar so he can't match authentic Gujarati test but it was not even 30%.

1. Ordered Undhiyu received mix veg with no test just boiled and tempered
2. instead of Sev Khamani we got 20% Khamani small pieces and 80% sev without green chatani
3. Masala chaas was spicy like added chilli powder , I have not heard of spicy butter milk in my life.

My request to Owner Shaili Patel ( came to know owner name through Gpay scanner ) that please change the cook and make sure you prepare the item which you have listed on Menu.

Otherwise you are spoiling Gujarat state name and...

Smells bad also manager is unaware about items are available in the kitchen or not also waiter is also not that welcoming and no information of the kitchen food available or not. Restaurant is not clean.
