Ramada Encore by Wyndham Bangalore Domlur — Hotel in Bengaluru

The Ramada Encore was a pleasant surprise really. They have a fantastic team who make you feel welcome and most importantly, very professional. The room was clean and it had all the usual amenities you would expect from a good hotel. I'm not a very big fan of the glass window for the bathroom, but it looked fine in this room. The colour theme for the room and the bathroom were warm and balanced well without being too bold and in your face. The bathroom was quite spacious and they went the extra mile by providing good quality consumables. The first time I stayed here, I had given a couple of suggestions to the manager. I was back at the hotel the following week, and was surprised to see they had considered customer feedback seriously. This alone is a winner for a good hotel... they take customer feedback and execute it if it made sense to them. As for the cleanliness, I couldn't spot a single stain on the bed linen or the bath towels. Such level of cleanliness does make one feel very comfortable staying there. The breakfast was not out of the world, but it was good. The waiting staff at the restaurant wore clean uniforms and greeted the customers professionally. Small things like these add to the overall experience. I would definitely be staying here again. And I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay here. Security is a big concern. I was sleeping in my room when someone knocked on door. I didn’t open since I wasn’t expecting anyone. Then the person opened the door using master key. When I shouted the other person closed the room immediately and ran away. I raised the issue to hotel manager and they agreed to look at CCTV. But they never provided me with an update on what had happened.

Also I invited one of the friends over. I greeted my friend in front of reception at which hotel staff didn’t say anything. Then they called me up after few hours saying that visitors are not allowed. I asked them to show the policy to which they said that I can find it on their website. I told them that nothing of such sort was mentioned at the booking time to which they said that they are sending security to escort my friend out. When I went down to meet hotel manager, he spoke nicely and mentioned that I need to pay extra if I want to invite people. If it was all about money they could have said that in the beginning but insulting my friend and talking rudely to me is unacceptable, especially considering they are supposedly a 4 star hotel with...
