• Evening Paddu Perfection: Unlike most places that serve Paddu only in the morning, Eshwaram Cafe offers piping hot, freshly made Paddu even in the evenings. A big plus for anyone craving a light yet satisfying snack.

• Bonda Soup Surprise: The unexpected highlight! The bonda soup is rich, flavorful, and comforting—perfectly seasoned and far above the usual versions you’ll find elsewhere.

• Chutney That Stands Out: Their coconut chutney is refreshingly different—thick, fragrant, and full of flavor. You can really taste the freshness of the coconut and the well-balanced spices. It’s a step above the typical darshini chutneys.

• Warm Nostalgia: Having missed the cafe when it closed its previous location, it was a joy to find it again. The quality remains top-notch, and the atmosphere is just as inviting.

It’s a brand new place and I’m giving 4 stars hoping they’ll improve with time and get better. The taste is definitely good and it’s value for money IF (a big if) they work on the following

they clean the surrounding (construction waste is still all around this place from the renovation - including a dirty commode) right next to the front side is a bag full of dirt and construction waste and random debris

the price is more compared to others in the area (dosa is 80/90) and the taste is good but if they don’t improve on the hygiene and cleanliness around and inside, people will gradually notice and stop going!

they need to have more cleaning staff to pick up plates from tables (because people apparently don’t have the manners to take their plates and put it in the dust bin).

also inform their customers or have a tiny board saying they can’t park in front of people’s gates which is a huge nuisance...

This place? Absolutely dreadful. Paying a king's ransom for the privilege of serving myself in what can only be described as a biohazard zone. The hygiene was appalling – and to top it off, I had the distinct pleasure of watching who I assume was the owner casually munching away behind the counter, completely oblivious to, or perhaps just uncaring about, the standards of cleanliness. The food itself? Let's just say my taste buds are still recovering. Low quality doesn't even begin to cover it. And the final nail in the coffin?
