We decided to visit the place based on the reviews by the food bloggers. To be honest, the place was not so appealing as there are many breweries that have an awesome ambience in the city. The seating was not too comfortable in the non smoking area. Low raise table that we were provided (though we had made a reservation) which after a while was starting to feel inconvenient. There are 3-4 sections of seating area where the centre one has a bar and is a non smoking area. The adjoining sides, we were told are the smoking zones. The menu is provided here unlike the new resto bars/breweries asking us to scan for the menu. This was actually refreshing!! The service was very fast/quick. Though the pasta towards the end took close to 30 mins which was a bit frustrating but overall was fine. There was live music on a Sunday late afternoon which quickly felt completely un entertaining as the singer was out of tune on all the songs. After a while, it was just more noisy than music. Would have liked it if there were more options in the mocktail section for tee-totallers. They serve more of Italian and Chinese dishes. The dessert section was very routine and looked dull. The dim sum layer was a bit hard and chewy but the sauce was great. The Indo Chinese spring roll was very crunchy and crispy but the samosa style filling was a bit surprising & the aloo pieces only gave me a feeling of eating a Samosa. But the sauce served with the rolls was great. The mocktail litchi with rose petals was supposedly to contain soda but it didn't taste like it. It was so diluted that it felt like having flavoured water with an essence of litchi in it. The cold coffee was dilute as well but was tasting alright. The Goat Cheese Ravioli (pasta) was great and was very tasty. The Ravioli has the Goat Cheese stuffed inside but hidden underneath the Ravioli was a heap of mushroom salad marinated probably with a bit of pepper and salt. As the dessert looked unappealing, we decided to give it a skip and opted to visit another place. We were served with a chocolate along with the bill. The chocolate tasted like a milk chocolate with adequate amount of...
Read more3.5/5 stars at max! I visited this place very recently with my colleagues from work. The place was quite empty when we visited but started to pull in some crowd towards the evening. They have a outdoor as well as indoor seating options available, they also have low-rise chairs and high-rise chairs to choose from. The food: They have a quite a lot options to choose from but not alot of the items on the menu make you go "WOAH", I would rate them just above average. We ordered salad, veg platter, chilly mushroom, veg cheese rolls, spring rolls and for the dessert we ordered sizzling brownie and tiramisu. Out of these, I would say only the Veg Platter stood out for me and the mint chutney along with it was good but apart from that, the food was okay and not anything extraordinary! The brownie on the other hand was good but the Tiramisu absolutely missed the mark for me, there are alot of places out there that offer very good Tiramisu so I'd suggest you avoid going for that here.
The staff: Although the staff was very friendly, they were simply super confused and we're mixing up the orders which wasn't an experience I expected from Gawky Goose.
The vibes: We asked if they could play a different song, which is when we learned that they ONLY play English songs and on a low volume. We requested if they could play one different song for 15-20 secs ATLEAST since it was a birthday of one of our colleagues, but they refused and said they can't play a song in any language apart from English (a huge turn off). When we requested if they could play the English music they were already playing a little bit louder since it was very low, that request of ours was also rejected. Quite disappointing..
Out of the box: The quirky, fun frames and quotes in the restrooms are pretty hilarious. You don't see...

Certain must try: Pulled bread (cheese), Chicken grilled burger, Raw Banana stem with honey and chilly roasted.
However, I must mention that the Asian cuisine, while undeniably delicious, showcased a level of authenticity that some might consider to be slightly raw. It offered a refreshing departure from the mainstream, and those seeking an authentic taste of Asia would undoubtedly appreciate this aspect.
In conclusion, my team and I were thoroughly enchanted by our visit to Gawky Goose. The combination of the restaurant's inviting ambiance, prompt and professional service, and the delectable culinary offerings made it an exceptional dining destination. While the Asian cuisine might have showcased a subtle rawness, it added a distinct charm to the overall experience.
