Disappointing Experience with Happy Belly Bakes- Unreliable Delivery Service

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Happy Belly Bakes on the occasion of my daughter's birthday. Despite their advertised promise of delivering cakes within 2 hours of booking, they failed to meet their commitment. Here's a timeline of my experience: 12:37 pm: I booked a cake for my daughter's birthday, selecting the 8 pm - 9 pm delivery slot. 7:00 pm: I called to confirm the delivery time and was informed that due to rain, the delivery might be delayed by 1 hour. However, they assured me that the order would be delivered without any issues. 10:07 pm: I received a call from the bakery stating that they would not be able to deliver the cake that day due to a lack of available delivery agents. 10:15 pm: I was forced to search for an alternative birthday cake, which significantly impacted the overall mood of the celebration. The bakery's failure to deliver on their promise and their poor communication throughout the process led to a disappointing and stressful experience. I watched Instagram ads and went to this place. First of all they have just mentioned in their Insta bio or ads that "Order now". Any shop would mention this "order now" whether they sell directly in outlets or online. By seeing the ads i went to this place directly and when asked they are saying they will accept only online orders!!.. Why can't they mention this in the Insta ads or in their bio. How would someone know that your Shop accepts only online orders if you don't mention clearly in the ads , bcos any shop who are selling offline will also mention that they can deliver online also if they have that option. This clearly shows that these people don't care abt others time and effort.. It was waste of time for me to visit directly coming from far place.. if you really respect others time then first have some courtesy to mention that you people accept only online orders.. we thought it's a place where we can sit and eat and spend some good time there.. The porter person was assigned without confirming the exact location of my house via map. I had to speak to the delivery person for 45 minutes for delivery of the cake. Happy belly bakes don’t deliver by themselves. They deliver through porter and don’t care about the condition of the cake that goes with the driver. After he arrived, he takes the cake out from a BACKPACK vertically, a TRES LECHES CAKE!! I opened it in front of the driver and he too saw the condition of the cake, completely leaked and crumbled. I sent the picture of the cake to the owner and told them their delivery practice and communication was extremely poor, as Amintiri etc always ask for the exact location and get this: they told me they’ll refund it and COLLECT THE CAKE BACK!!
