Visited Siddique Kabab Centre at St.Johns road and honestly, I walked away feeling a bit sorry for the people working there. Despite being located in such a prime spot, the place seemed poorly managed and in need of serious upkeep.
We tried: Al Faham BBQ chicken & it was terrible and the chicken was raw and uncooked we asked the waiter to get it changed or cook it properly and to our surprise we were served the over cooked (Burnt chicken) Seekh Roll — Served with cold Rumali roti lacked taste and there was only mint chutney in it and no Mayonnaise, we asked waiter for the Mayonnaise he replied there's no Mayonnaise available in the restaurant?? Chicken noodles: Unfortunately for our luck there was no chicken in the chicken noodles, it was tasteless + Used oil smell and full of cabbage in it, worst part was the waiter gave spoons to eat noodles upon asking he said they don't have fork...
If their main focus is only for takeaway then why Dine-in setup for name sake if they can't provide good service to the customers!
Waiters attitude was on pathetic and he seemed to be uninterested with his work, careless and arrogant attitude, like this is how we serve EAT IT OR LEAVE IT.
The cook handling the chinese section seemed to have missed the memo on basic hygiene.
This place definitely has potential, but it needs a serious revamp—better management, hygiene standards could make all...
Read moreHi.. Recently we went to this place since we wanted to eat chicken items. We ordered biryani. BIRYANI WAS NOT THERE. Then we ordered naan, kalcha or paratha he said he had only rumali roti. With no choice left we ordered rumali roti.
Then we told him to bring zeera rice and he said it doesn't taste good order ghee rice It's tasty we ordered but I wanted to try zeera rice anyway so ordered but he said it's over, then I told him to bring fried rice, that is also over. Again we said bring ghee rice, he said that is also over 😂. Ended ordering more rumali roti.
We ordered sheek kabab. Worst kabab I ever had in my life (no taste, please don't waste money). But butter chicken was good. We ordered chicken lollipop. The guy went down and after some time came with fried chicken(chicken 65) it tasted good but not what we wanted. We said this is not what we ordered but he forcefully gave it to us and told us no chicken lollipop available right now.
The time was 10 pm - 11 pm. It was saturday 12th of july 2025.
He had only grilled chicken and tandoori chicken. And some other chicken gravies.
So disappointed that I didn't...
Read moreChicken kabab was one of the most loved item even in the early 90's and for the common middle class customer this item was mostly available in hotels like Imperial on Residency Road and then the Empire hotel. Come 2000's this Siddique Kabab Centre born opposite Coles Park on St.Johns Road and they became so famous particularly for their Chicken Kabab delicacy. The joint was always crowded especially for the chicken kabab item. Ofcourse there were other varieties of chicken that customers were introduced to buy their kabab was a super hit item. I probably feel that after the success of SKC's chicken kabab item, many kabab centres in the gullies of Bangalore were born. Even today despite a few joints coming just adjacent to SKC, they are still attracting customers same way as it was in the 2000's. Iam all appreciation for this outlet except for a certain level of proper hygiene maintenance. Go for it to satisfy your taste buds and an experience where you get these at reasonable prices. They have tables in second floor for sitting and dining but mostly they're good for take aways........
