Indira Canteen — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This is the first time I visited a Indira Canteen. Today I made up my mind to see for myself how (good or bad) it is. I found it to be a Nice place to Visit. The entire place is maintained very Tidy and Neat. Staff were so friendly and Courteous. We had Anna Sambar and Vegetable Pulav. The quantity provided was quite sumptuous. Quality of food was really Good. Clean Drinking Water from the Water Can was available. The High Tables were cleaned often and were very Neat. Benches under the shady trees are also there ourside. Nice initiative by the Government to provide food at lower cost. Provides Breakfast for Rs.5/- and Lunch for Rs.10/-. Items are changed every day, so that regular users are not forced to eat the same item daily.

Here food will be provided in very less quantity compared to other Indira canteens in different areas. I visited many other Indira canteens so I think I'm reasonable to complain. They don't have weighing scale which is mandatory and seen in most other Indira canteens. Many students eat here three times everyday and most of them are from poor family like me.
