Kannur Food Point — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I’ve tried this place multiple times and never really felt a “wow” factor in the food. That said, it’s definitely not bad either – in fact, far better than the overrated Jose Mess.

Puttu Mix – 3/5: Decent in taste, but something is missing to make it great.

Appam – 3.5/5: Soft and good, enjoyable.

Beef Curry – 2.5/5: Taste is not consistent, depends on daily availability. The quantity is good, but it doesn’t really taste like beef or buffalo meat – some smell difference is noticeable. Thick gravy but unsure what’s added apart from masala.

Biryani – 4/5: Very decent and tasty.

Service: Quite average. No proactiveness – they didn’t serve water until I asked, and then just gave a bottle without cups or glasses. Staff didn’t check what we needed, so I had to call out loudly to order. Not impressive at all.

Ambience & Location: Both are good.

Overall, a decent spot with some dishes worth trying, but service and consistency...

The biriyani here is the best Malabar biriyani you'll find in S.G Palya. Everything else on the menu is also excellent. If your going there I suggest you have the biriyani or porotta and beef, because being a kerala cuisine,that's what they'll make best, porotta and beef....

The place it self is pretty small but because of the food, the place is packed throughout the day. Especially at lunch and dinner times. And if the amount of customers there isn't enough to convince you of how good the food is, then the line of swiggy riders waiting in line to collect there order might.

If you want nalla nadan(malayalam for excellent and local) kerala food then you must visit this place.

The only real problem is space. There is no parking facility as such because its right next to the road and then once you go inside you probably might have trouble finding a place to sit.

Me and my friends waited for half an hour at around 12:00am to have dinner.the staff told to wait for few mins i did not object and waited without hesitation after an hour one staff called as to come in and when we arrived one lady customer finished her food and is roaming around the table for around 2mins i requested the customer to either move or sit . She yelled at me and the staff also reluctantly questioned me despite unprofessional management of allotment seats to of customers.once everything was done when i requested for table cleaning from staff as my friend slipped some water undeliberately the restaurant in-charge behaved very rudely and impolitely towards us . Being a keralite i visited this restaurant quiet regularly as food served was alright.
