Maa Da Dhaba — Restaurant in Bengaluru

This was an amazing place to eat. The food was tasty without added spices or other unwanted flavours. The phulkas were just like home.

Excellent paneer dishes and starters not to mention other starters too. Yummy lassi. This would be out go to place.

BUT NOT ANYMORE. IT USED TO BE A PURE VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT BUT WHEN I VISITED IT FEW DAYS BACK I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE NON VEGETARIAN DISHES. THEY TOLD ME THAT A FEW MONTHS BACK THEY MADE IT NON VEGETARIAN AND THERE IS NO SEPARATE KITCHEN FOR COOKING THE MAIN COURSE.

EVEN MNC FAST FOOD OUTLETS HAVE SEPARATE KITCHENS AND RECENTLY ONE MNC FAST FOOD BRAND ALSO HAD SPECIAL MENU WITHOUT ONION AND GARLIC L, IT WAS CALLED SHRAVAN SPECIAL MENU.

THIS IS TOTALLY SAD TEAM MAA DA DHABA EXPRESS. I HOPE YOU SHIFT TO BEING PURE VEGETARIAN AGAIN.

Vegetarian only branch, Small restaurant to cater to 30 odd people. Staff were good and quick in service (even on Saturday night for dinner). Parking is available beside the road & I guess it is not a No-Parking zone. Definitely not wheelchair friendly place as the restaurant is one floor above the surface and has no lift or ramp. No washrooms available. No washbasin in the restaurant, but there is one downstairs outside-Didn’t make sense to me as one would get wet if it rains. (So you not only wash your hands, but yourself too). Very reasonable priced menu. Overall the food was just good, but “maaza nahi aaya yaar” I liked their crockery and glad that they don’t use cheap plastics. Personally liked their lassi and the rest...

It's worst...they are not even to the standard of road side cart food seller.. dirty floor...dirty plate..I visited yesterday.. to have Chole Bhature...waiter will clean the table without gloves. Then with the same uncleaned hand ..he will pull out dirty onion salad from fridge...they have handwash outside. Not at all good for senior citizen...I found it's highly unhygienic....looks like they are focusing very much on online orders..not bothered to serve dine in customer...bhatura is half cooked...Chola...no taste at all...now a days it has become fashion to name the restaurant dhaba..and serve the hopeless food...I am totally disappointed with their food . Last bit not least...they don't have fly...
