Monish Corner — Restaurant in Bengaluru

It was a hot afternoon.. we were tired of fixing my classmate room. We visited monish corner for lunch.

It was a all veg restaurant. And they certain number of dishes in the afternoon​. That day they had masale dose, Puri, rice bath,shavige uppittu, kesari bath and masal vade.

We were 7 members in the group we ordered 5 masale dose and 2 rice bath. And masal vade for each. Dose were nice, crispy and tasteful . Batter was finely cooked without any sense of chalky feel.

Rice bath was tasty with rightly seasoned vegetables and masale.. masal vade was big enough for single person. We were still hungry. So, we ordered kesari bath, shavige bath and coffee for all.

I have to tell you Service guy was smiling all the time. He was very friendly. And co-operative.. though we asked chatni many times he wasn't angry at us. Thumbs up for service.

Can. You guess what will be the total bill..!? It was in the range of 350-400 rs. It's for 7 members. Had a very good time while we are in the hotel.

Khali Dose Avalakki Chitranna Tomato Bath Idli Shavige Bath

This place doesn't serve ghee or butter, so if you are a ghee freak carry a bottle of ghee to eat along with those amazing Khali dosas. They are served with some amazing chutney and alu saagu!

The avalakki is extremely tasty with ample amount of coconut gratings, groundnuts and chillies.

The chitranna or lemon rice is one of it's kind! It is infused with garlic and onion and with lot of groundnuts!!!

I have been going their for quite long time , almost last 5+ years (from 2016 Dec). Once we got shifted in that area. Infact My Kids loves Monish Corner "Tatte Idly" . Unfortunately Hotel Team guys are getting a Monopoly attitude , looks like they are disturbing food Free Of Cost...And they are flying with very high attitude. In fact while I asked for additional chutney on my plate they refused to give , though I was ready yo take 5Rs Coupne for Chutney.🙂🙂

One more fact : Practically Food Taste is getting worst day by day as almost monthly 2 or 3 times on Sundays we go there or we get parcel , earlier days chutney used to be good and thick. But now.. It's like 1 Liter Milk with 2 Liter water.😀😀.

Today I had my last breakfast in MONISH CORNER. If there is shortage of food in whole world , still me and my family will not go MONISH CORNER at any cost.
