I love this Bakery. The products are generally fresh and good. The pricing is very aggressive compared to any other bakery and they offer real value for money through their bakery items. I have been a regular to this place since they opened up a few months ago. The ambience is very good, the staff look very well groomed, trained, dressed up.

Today, I had a concern, which I mentioned to the cashier at the time of payment. I am posting this publicly so that it is seen by the owner and shop management also.

I had to purchase a few packs of Kharabun. I realised that the MRP and date sticker were not there in the packs which were kept at the back of the rack containing these. On checking, I found the same case with other bread items also that they had no sticker of date of manufacture, expiry and MRP on the ones at the rear of the rack.

My concerns were:

Whether they have slipped to paste the sticker? This cannot be the case in two racks especially on the packs at the rear. Hence, this does not appear to be a slip.

I am of the opinion that they are wilfully not putting stickers on few of the packs and keep them at the rear, which they feel may be carried over to the next day. Then the subsequent morning, they put that days sticker. As a customer, we are happy to get a fresh pack of bread item.

Not putting a sticker as per Weights and Measures rules will attract severe penalty in case the authorities visit and make a random check and see what i noticed today.

My request to the management is that they have earned a lot of good will from the customers in the neighbourhood and such a practice for few packs, will make customers lose their confidence on their outlet.

I wish and pray that it was only a slip of pasting the sticker as I love this outlet, the ambience and the staff who work there. I hope that I do not have a similar observation the next time i visit there by action from the outlet staff and management to address this...
