I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service and overall dining experience I had yesterday at your Hennur branch during lunch hours.
Despite ordering meals and biryani, the service was extremely poor. Basic accompaniments such as ghee and curry for the meals, and onion salad (which we specifically asked for while ordering), were not served until we repeatedly reminded the staff – and that too only when we were close to finishing our food. The biryani was just placed on the table without serving and they left simply. I was confused whether they will come again and serve or Do I need to serve myself and finally I only served myself and in the last third attempt on person and asked to serve the final spoon of rice.
To make things worse, the lime soda with salt was served with a pudina (mint) flavor without informing us, and the lime used was spoiled. Even after informing the staff and declining a replacement, another one was served – this time sweet, with pudina again, which we did not ask for.
We also ordered buttermilk expecting a refreshing and chilled drink, but were served the same buttermilk used in veg meals in a glass – with no difference in taste or presentation.
The biggest issue overall was the delay and lack of attentiveness. Nothing was served proactively, including the sweet that typically accompanies biryani, which we only received after specifically asking for it – and after the finger bowl.
In terms of taste, the buttermilk, lime soda, and sambar in the veg meals were disappointing and below your usual standards.
Final feedback: For the first time, I felt that I paid an unworthy lunch bill at Nandhana – without satisfaction and with no sense of...

Read moreIt was our third time at Nandana Palace in Hennur. Writing this review just a few hours after.
We had Andhra meals. Positives first: Decent Ambience. Decent Food.
Now the negatives: No Customer empathy: There is no basic courtesy of providing water. They push bottled water. Even after insisting on, as they call ‘Normal Water,’ it never came. No glasses on the table, only a bunch of plastic water bottles. One of the waiters even said there is dust in the ‘normal’ water. Really? What does it say about your filtration system? Incomplete Menu: There was no palya or ‘curries’ as they call it. Nobody spoke to us about it. When asked, we were told it was over. The customer deserves better than that. Same price for the meal. Seriously? Service: I would rate the service the worst of all popular Andhra chains in Bengaluru. It was as if no one cared a damn. After the first serving everyone disappeared. We were seated away from the centre, so it made things look even worse. Not sure what language they understood. They dont seem to understand Kannada or Hindi for sure. The waiters, including the manager only focused on large tables and a la carte customers. Does it have to be so obvious? No one to bring the bill: After a few attempts to get the attention of our waiter, we got fed up and paid the bill at the counter.
Overall, a very poor experience and at Rs 305/- per veg meal, you can do much better.
Given a lot of competitive options that have come up recently around this place, I am not sure if we would go...
