Personally food quality is average. Please avoid chats section. It's pathetic. If you are opting for service hall service is very poor. For self service, it depends on your luck.
Coming to atmosphere...if you are a person looking for a good ambience, atmosphere this place is definitely not for you. This is all about service hall or self service dine in space. If we review over-all restaurant premises.....aahhhh no words to describe....even after so many requests, reminders, warnings by neighbours.... manager hasn't cleaned up the dirt created by their hotel. It all started from this hotel, where they started dumping hotel wastes in backyard of their premise( which is front door of many house). And we all know Indian mentality (majority), where you find waste, we start dumping more and that's what has happened here now that restaurant folks have stopped dumping waste here but who is responsible for the bad smell, wastes, mosquitoes created our of their negligence. I understand you can not stop everyone who is dumping buttttttt it's you who started it all. And will you keep quiet if someone dumps wastes at my compound?????
Hotel so called management has kept their front gate, side gate so neatly maintained...WHY???? TO attract customers. What about backyard??? Is it not your responsibility to maintain it well???
On top of it they used to dump waste and put fire so that all wastes aren't accumulated. Woooow what an idea!!! Now tell me who is responsible for the air pollution here? All neighbours have reminded them multiple times, still no action. This shows how responsible are you towards your city, towards cleanliness. If there is any point to be given for cleanliness....i would definitely rate -100 .
Your restaurant is located in mid of residential area, so we all do mind of loud music played either from your hall or from any other. Bcoz 10 pm is standard bed time for most of us and it's your responsibility to maintain this peace.
Wait it's not over yet.... You manage or own a restaurant which has... service hall, dine in self service hall, party hall...and for all these your customers needs to depend on main road (which isn't 80 ft road) just narrow road, for parking. This trouble isn't happened once or twice.... can't you plan for parking lot? Isn't it a basic need....?
I'm writing this review since I'm frustrated by their behaviour towards public property and requests done.
I just hope this review makes some difference in the maintenance and i can edit my comment looking at the good progress 🙏 my humble request being a...
Read moreSorry to write a long review. I live outside the country and had a craving to have dosa when I visited my homeland.I never discourage to improve by looking at you tube videos and all. But one should not lose their originality. I understand in North India or any other place they don't know how the original dosa is made so they make all the changes according to the customer's likes and dislikes. We are kannadigas and if we don't have our originality who will recognize us. The fame of the older restaurants is because they have never changed :ex : Vidhyarthi Bhavan.
Now talking about experience: I had ordered Mysore masala dosa and was very disappointed to see that they have ruined the originality of it. When I saw the dosa on the plate served in pieces I was literally shocked. My appetite went away that instant. Mysore masala should be crispy in one layer and there is some softness where it absorbs the chutney and with that potato palya it should taste awesome. The red chutney in the Mysore masala dosa should give all the spicy taste but to my disappointment the crispiness was ruined when they had mashed the potato palya all over the dosa and there was no taste of dosa left to enjoy with coconut chutney alone. It was soggy and they had put cheese over it. Who puts cheese on dosa. No offense to anyone who likes dosa in that style but being born in Karnataka and knowing the original taste I can't pretend to like it. This is my opinion. The restaurant is new and less crowded and rest all things were good( did not try everything in the menu though) and has a good and clean environment. And if you guys like dosa in original style don't forget to tell them specifically to do it...
Read moreMy experience at Shanthisagar today, March 22nd, around 9:30 PM, was not as delightful as I had hoped. Accompanied by my daughter, we ordered Pav Bhaji with extra pav. To our dismay, the very first bite of the Pav Bhaji revealed an overwhelming spiciness that rendered it inedible. I promptly approached the counter and informed the chef about the issue, seeking a solution to tone down the spiciness for it to be palatable.
The chef, in turn, relayed the information to the cashier. After a brief wait, I inquired about the status of my order. The chef assured me that he would prepare a fresh batch by diluting it with water to reduce the spiciness. While I was intrigued by this approach, the chef seemed preoccupied with making a sandwich instead of addressing my concern regarding the Pav Bhaji.
Upon approaching the cashier for an update, I was met with reluctance and a lack of awareness regarding my complaint, despite the chef having informed him moments earlier. The cashier even insinuated that no one else had complained about the spiciness of the Pav Bhaji, making me feel isolated in my dissatisfaction.
Following a brief exchange, a fresh serving of Pav Bhaji was presented to me. However, to my disappointment, it still retained its excessive spiciness. This experience tarnished my perception of the restaurant, as I had previously enjoyed their flavorsome dishes. I urge the management to investigate such incidents and provide guidance to their senior staff on handling customer complaints with empathy...
