The Rajadhiraja Govinda Temple at Vaikunta Hill, Vasanthapura was inaugurated by Honourable President of India, Sri Ram Nath Kovind, on 14 June, 2022 during the Lokarpana ceremony. Srila Prabhupada desired to build a grand temple in Bangalore and this Rajadhiraja Govinda Temple is a humble offering to Srila Prabhupada to commemorate his 125th birth anniversary. Absolutely divine and soul-soothing! ISKCON Vaikuntha Hill is a spiritual gem nestled amidst the serene beauty of Kanakapura Road, just outside the bustling city of Bengaluru. The temple, dedicated to Lord Sri Venkateshwara (Balaji), is designed to mirror the divine opulence of Tirumala Tirupati, and truly lives up to its name “Vaikuntha” — the eternal spiritual abode.

The architecture is breathtaking, blending traditional South Indian temple styles with ISKCON’s signature grandeur. The idols are beautifully adorned, and the entire premises radiate peace and spiritual energy. The temple is perched on a hilltop, offering a panoramic view of the lush green surroundings and a fresh breeze that calms your soul.

Parking is well-managed, and the place is incredibly clean and well-maintained. There’s a Gaushala (cow shelter), gardens, and a prasadam counter serving delicious sattvic food. It’s less crowded than the ISKCON temple in Rajajinagar, making it perfect for peaceful darshan and meditation.

A must-visit for all Krishna devotees, nature lovers, and anyone looking for a spiritual retreat in Bengaluru.
