Prahita Kitchen - HSR Layout — Restaurant in Bengaluru

A couple of weeks back when I was going for lunch to the quite popular and crowded restaurant near this one, happened to see this newly opened restaurant with all the decorations. Stopped by to think about trying their food, but since it was a new one, I decided to go on with the tried and tested place which was not so good in my view. But again, yesterday when I was in HSR layout during lunch hours I wanted to try this one instead of the same over hyped nearby restaurant. When I went there it was somewhat past lunch time and the place was almost empty. I was initially a bit disappointed since they don't have meals. So, I ordered veg biryani and it was absolutely tasty that, though I had no plan for takeaway, I took one each of veg biryani, chapati kurma and kongu paruppu sadam as takeaway. My family too enjoyed the food quite well. And beyond the food the best part is that they serve food on disposable eco friendly plates covered with plantain leaf. I have ordered through Swiggy at 7 pm. I forgot to see the Google reviews of it. So, I felt bad. So, after receiving the order, I have just checked. The food smelled bad. I have ordered like 2 Pongal and 1 Karapath and 1 Chow Chow Bath. I am just left out with the hungry. Chutney has a bad smell. I think they have made it in the morning and keep it till the night. They sent it like that only. Food thrown to the dustbin. It's a bad day for me. Worst restaurant. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I had the worst experience ever. After billing me, they asked me to wait for 15 minutes. Thirty minutes later, I was told it would take another 15 minutes due to gas connection issues. Then, the owner informed me I needed to wait even longer because they had to get the food from a different outlet. Frustrated, I decided to cancel my order. The bill was ₹210, but they refunded only ₹200, claiming ₹10 was the parcel charge. This means the food cost ₹190 and the parcel charge was ₹10—so why was I billed ₹210 in the first place?
