I had a very unpleasant encounter at Sea Spice by 7 Star. I stopped by and politely asked to use their washroom, only to be rudely refused by the staff, who were visibly impatient and dismissive. Their behavior was not only unprofessional but also reflected a shocking lack of basic human courtesy.
What’s even more troubling is that this refusal goes against The Indian Sarais Act of 1867, which grants the public free access to washrooms and water in hotels and lodging establishments. This is a legal right, not a favor. The staff either had no knowledge of the law or chose to ignore it, both of which are inexcusable.
For a place that markets itself as part of a premium experience, the treatment I received was anything but. I urge others to think twice before visiting an establishment that shows such disregard for both hospitality...
Read moreI have been visiting sea spice for over 4 years now and it's one of the best places in South Bangalore.
The differentiating factor for this restaurant is the freshness of sea food and the brilliant taste. We have tried many dishes here like the pomfret fry, prawns kolivada, chicken and crab ghee roast , their ghee roast biriyani, and more and it has never disappointed us.
Getting fresh crab is very hard but this is one of those few restaurants who have got them. So don't miss it.
Apart from those dishes, the sathe chicken or sathe paneer is really nice if you don't mind a less spicy dish with groundnut based coating.

The staff assured us that service was available until 12 midnight. However, when we reached around 11:15 pm, we were surprised to find the kitchen already closed, though the staff were still present. After informing them that we had called two hours earlier, they agreed to serve us food.
We ordered Pomfret Masala Fry (2 plates), Chicken Biryani, Neer Dosa, and Tomato Curry. The food quality was very good, and the fish especially tasted excellent. However, the pricing was on the higher side – they charged ₹1000 for each fish fry, which felt quite expensive.
Overall, the food is tasty and well-prepared, but be prepared for...
