Purani Dilli @ Anand Sweets - BSK 2 Stage
Location: 📌 Located on the main road, very close to BDA Complex - BSK 2 Stage.
Parking: 🏍️ / 🚘 There is parking for 2 Wheelers on the main road, but difficult at times to get parking, extremely difficult for 4 Wheeler parking.
Restaurant: 🍽️ A pure Veg Restaurant located on the First floor serving mostly North Indian, Chats, & Sweets.
Ambience: 🪟 Superb, This place is a self-service restaurant located in the First floor. A clean & neat place, nothing to complain about, almost equivalent to any of the fine dine restaurants.
Service: 🧑🍳 Since it is a Self -Service place, no much interaction, but they can be a bit more attentive when they are asked a doubt on the food.
Food Taste: 🥘 This was my first visit after they relocated to another building on the same road. There is a very limited items available for the Main course, there is also a Thali available. But an elaborate menu for chats. We tried their Ala Carte menu;
Sabzi Of the day = Mix Veg - Taste was Bad, it was too sweet Lachha Paratha = Vey Bad, there was no layers in the paratha, seemed more like Roti Butter Naan = Excellent Gulab Jamoon = Excellent In this visit, Jamoon was the best dish we ate. There is no scope to alter the taste like spiciness, as they serve the items which are already cooked.
Pricing: 💰 I feel they are Overly priced for the quantity & taste.
Payment Options: 🖥️ They accept Credit Cards, cash & UPI .
My Verdict: 🎯 I would definitely not visit this place again for the Food, as I did not find the taste appealing as it was too sweet.
Nice Place as usual. Kaju items are highly recommended here along with Moti Chur Laddoo. Also there Aloo Samosa and Onion Kachori is...
Read moreAnand Sweets are already very well known for their unique varieties in sweets and interesting combo boxes and savouries. But this was the first time that we visited their restaurant that they very recently opened. They marketed quite well :D , since my father always used to see their ads on the newspaper and hence insisted we go there xD!!! We initially were of the impression that chaats and North Indian cuisine might be their best, but each and every dish that we ordered , be it Chinese, they all tasted well and did not disappoint! The price is on the higher end, for the quantity that they serve , to be honest, but their quality cannot be questioned ! The litchi lemonade beverage was refreshing. Paneer tikka was tasty, with the capsicums on the side being extra juicy and delicious. Spring roll too was great with the Schezwan sauce on the side, but quantity was indeed less for the price. Even Dahi paapdi chaat is quite nice. American chop suey was amazing and worth it - one must go for this if they are a true chop suey lover!! There are budget friendly meals that they have - like rice, dal and raitha or a naan, dal and raitha and those options are great too. The dal makhani was served hot and was tasty. Overall,...
Read moreAnand sweets is too good and delicious no doubt, but this one star rating is related to the outlet restaurant employees. Firstly there was no specified cashier when I visited, the person who billed was wearing the same outfit as the person who packed the sweets. That person behaved like government office and told he didn’t have any sort of change and insisted to pay through upi and he directly gave the option to leave if I couldn’t pay through upi or card. It’s insulting when a premium priced outlet like these show such rude and insensitive attitude. Venkateshwara sweets manager is present all time in the store and is very active and ensure such behaviour is impossible and he takes responsibility of ensuring the cash counter is filled with change all the time. Hope Anand sweets management implement better standards like their...
