My friends and I recently visited Corner House and had a mostly delightful experience. Their extensive selection of ice cream flavors is impressive, and most of the ones we tried were fantastic.

However, we weren't too fond of the Caramel Nut Crunch and Rum and Raisin flavors. The Caramel Nut Crunch was a bit too sweet for our liking, and the Rum and Raisin didn't have the balance of flavors we expected.

On the other hand, the Nut Butterscotch was delightful, with the creamy butterscotch flavor complemented by crunchy nuts. The Mango ice cream tasted like fresh, ripe mangoes, capturing the essence of the fruit perfectly. Fig and Honey offered a unique combination of flavors that was both sweet and slightly tangy, providing a refreshing change. The Mango Passion Fruit was a tropical delight with a tangy twist that left us craving more.

Vanilla Ice Cream, often a simple classic, was anything but ordinary here—it was creamy and full of rich vanilla flavor. Lastly, the Strawberry Ice Cream was bursting with fresh strawberry taste, making it a perfect ending to our ice cream adventure.

I’ve been going to corner house ever since its first ever store at airlines. Every time after exam season was over, my father would take me there as a treat. So I have been a loyal customer of corner house for more than a decade. So when this branch at Banashankari opened which is closer to my house I was so excited.

But instead I am utterly DISAPPOINTED with the quantity of peanuts and chocolate sauce given for the classic sundaes like cake fudge. It barely even covers one piece of the cake. And when I requested for more, I was shown extreme rudeness and attitude. I was very rudely told “to pay extra” which is NOT how corner house works. Disgusting attitude. I only asked a little more sauce because it was so less to begin with. I understand the charge if Im asking extra i.e, more than the usual. But the staff at this branch have cut down the usual portion of chocolate sauce so that they can charge more. Typical bureaucracy. Forcing us to pay more when you give less from the start. Ruined my experience completely.

Well, chances were given and mistakes were continued to be made. Where do I start. From the worst staff who are apathetic towards customers requests to innumerable cheating attempts on delivery orders there is no limit. I have always been a fan of the CH chain and that was the reason I didn't want to give a bad review after just one bad experience. I waited for them to repeat the series of disasters till I could no longer take it and then posted this review. Just look at the quantity they are providing these days. 40 bucks for a cup of chocolate sauce which isn't filled even to half the extent and despite regular requests they haven't given any heed. Do yourselves a favor. Avoid this outlet. You will surely find better outlets in vicinity than this, at a much cheaper price and higher quantity. This outlet has reduced to nothing but cheating customers both in terms of quality and quantity in brand name. Don't encourage this behaviour and save others from getting cheated too. Make a wise choice by giving other restaurants with lesser known brand names, a chance because you deserve...
