Kerala style food is pretty good here. And is cheaper compared to other restaurants too. But the customer experience is really bad. Once you enter and sit inside, nobody will notice you until you take the initiative. This happens even if the employees are free. At times they forget what you have ordered, and you have to remind them. At the end, when you pay the bill, you end up waiting a lot of time at the counter. The receptionist is either busy on phone or talking to the employees. I've been staying nearby this restaurant for more than a year, and have visited this restaurant multiple times. Every time the experience has been the same. And this holds true whether I go alone, or with my friends. Basically, there's no care for the customer.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Thalassery Restaurant. I ordered a takeaway of porotta, beef curry, and chicken fried rice, but unfortunately, none of the items met even basic expectations.

The porotta was the only item that was somewhat acceptable—at least it was edible. However, the beef curry was extremely salty, and the meat was so tough it was almost impossible to chew. It felt like it had not been cooked properly.

The chicken fried rice was by far the worst of the three. It tasted bland and lacked any seasoning or flavor. To make matters worse, after eating it, both of us experienced stomach issues, which was really unpleasant.
