Read moreThe Chocolate Room in Whitefield is truly a chocolate lover's paradise. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the delightful aroma of rich chocolate, setting the stage for a sweet experience like no other. The cafe specializes in a wide variety of indulgent chocolate creations, but they also offer savory dishes, making it a perfect spot for any time of day.
We started with their famous Chocolate Pizzas, which were a decadent treat. The combination of a soft, crispy base and layers of rich chocolate with toppings made it a delightful dessert twist on a classic favorite. But it’s not all sweets here we also tried their Chicken Pizzas, and they were just as delicious, with a perfectly balanced topping of tender chicken and flavorful sauce.
For drinks, we opted for the Hot Chocolate with Crunchy Magic Balls, which was a showstopper. The hot chocolate was thick, rich, and comforting, while the crunchy balls, which come in various flavors, added a fun and unique twist that elevated the drink to the next level.
Next, we indulged in the Nutella Fondue, which came with an array of treats cookies, brownies, wafer sticks, and muffins, all ready to be dipped into a hot bowl of Nutella. It was heavenly, perfect for sharing.
The highlight of our visit was the Choco Surprise Bomb a large balloon like chocolate structure filled with cheesecake and vanilla ice cream. Pouring a generous mug of hot chocolate over it causes the chocolate to melt and reveal the surprise inside. This dessert is as theatrical as it is delicious, making it a must try!
The ambiance at The Chocolate Room is warm and inviting, making it a great spot for casual outings or special celebrations. The space is also ideal for hosting birthday parties and events. Adding to its charm as a late night destination it stays open until 1 AM!

Read moreHere is my detailed review with images from my last visit on 15th June, 2024
Ambiance: The interiors are beautifully designed, creating a pleasant atmosphere. There's seating available on both the ground and first floors, including a balcony area on the first floor. However, we noticed an issue with mosquitoes and a persistent bad smell that required the staff to frequently spray room freshener, which was not ideal during dining.
Service: The service left much to be desired. While the waitress was polite, the overall service was very slow. Despite the restaurant filling up after we arrived, I had to wait for my meal even after my partner had finished hers.
Parking: There is ample parking space available for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers.
Food Here is my item-wise review of the food we tried:
Lime Soda (1.5/5) This basic drink was disappointing, with half the glass filled with ice and a very ordinary taste.
French Fries (2.5/5) These tasted like pre-made fries that were simply fried in oil. The taste was not impressive.
Classic Chicken Wrap (3/5) The wrap was delivered very late, which spoiled the experience. The taste was average and a bit dry for my liking.
Chicken Spaghetti in Pink Sauce (3/5) Pasta was just average. It was a bit less chessy for my liking.
Cuddle Cup Classic (2.5/5) The presentation was cute, but the hot chocolate tasted watery and seemed to be made from instant powder rather than the traditional method.
Entertainment: The restaurant features a projector, and on our visit, WWE was being showcased, bringing back nostalgic memories.
Final Verdict: I would recommend the place for its ambiance, but not for the food, at least based on the items we tried. It might be worth checking with the staff for their specialties.
Suggestions for Improvement: Add at least one more staff member to take orders on the first floor during peak times like weekends. Address the smell and mosquito issue within the facility. Equip staff to better assist customers with menu...
