Bling — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I've had the worst Bangalore party experience here. I went to a party. I had booked a ticket. The website said no cover charges for couples till 11pm. We reached at 10:40pm and they said there is cover charges after 10:30. We argued and even showed them the ticket which showed 'cover charges applicable after 11pm'. The bouncer was so stubborn. Even the hotel staff was not helpful. Then we paid the 1000/- cover charges. We got 2 booklets with coupons worth 500 each which had 50 and 100 bucks coupons, which added up to 500. I assumed it would be okay but when we ordered food, we realised one of the booklets only had 250/- worth of coupons, and some coupons were torn off. I had to go complain again for this and argued with them and got a replacement booklet. Then I wanted to order a drink, so I asked them for the bar menu. They gave me the bar menu and I ordered an LIIT which was 500/-. They gave the LIIT in a normal glass. When I gave them the booklet worth 500, they told me this is the longest island iced tea(which it definitely wasn't) which is 900 bucks. I told them I had ordered the LIIT which was 500/- from the menu. Then the bartender changed his statement. He showed me a TV screen which showed LIIT was 800/-, when their menu stated it was 500/- and asked me to pay 800/-. I refused and gave back the drink. This was when the manager came and asked him to give me the drink. This place is a total rip-off. And the party scene...

Even though we came pretty early before their curfew, they tried to charge extra cover charges. The didn't allow us saying the guest list is filled and kept changing the curfew time. The manager (as he claimed) resisted to say his name as we told them we are complaining to the booking agency from which we booked. After that from 1000 per person he reduced to 500. And they tried tricking us with half teared token. When we found out we argued with them and after almost 30 minutes of argument we got replacement. Then when we tried ordering drinks, the rate kept changing like the bartender wanted. When we took the menu and shoes them the price written there they started arguing "Today this rates are not available". Charged us ₹800 for a ₹500 long island ice tea. The hotel management was also supporting pub receptionist and the bartender. The worst...

One of the best 5 star restaurants I have been to. . One of the best White Sauce Pastas I have had was here at Zuri. . . Zuri ranks 2nd in my mind for their food and hospitality in comparison to the other 5 star hotels I have been to. . . Food was great. . Desserts were good. . . White sauce live pasta was the best and Virgin pina colada, was extremely sweet....they had only one veg dish, some paneer pakoda....was horribly tasteless!!!! Had been to Karibu for lunch with a friend. Experienced the same disappointment....tasteless starters, raw rice. Not worth the time and money at all....The Zuri is supposed to a brand with good service and food....but only the service is ok, food is horrible....not even worth half the price they charge....even a one star rated restaurants serve...
