Rating it 1 star after being a regular customer for more than 5 years now... They have the worst cook for north Indian dishes.
For example, when we bought palak rice, the rice was still the same way. It's cubed and had ZERO taste of Palak. When we bought it to the attention of the Incharge, he kept arguing and teaching us how to cook 😂😂😂
COFFEE IS NOT EVEN COFFEE. Worst Coffee. They don't what is coffee. The coffee powder they use itself is second grade. You can feel the taste of the coffee beans peels. It really not coffee beans it is the peal of the coffee beans. A
The only thing they're good in making is Idli and Masale Dose. All the other dishes and literally a Unfair Price for the quality and taste.
I don't understand how they survived for so long. I think it is because of idli and masale dose.
I just hope these people change the cooking staff. They really need to work on the taste and quality. A shame to the entire "Udupi...
Read moreComplete failure of system in all ways. I ordered utthapam (onion dosa) with less oil. In front of me they repeated my order. By the time they started cooking, I saw they pouring lots of oil. That too on relatively less crowd. After that when the order came, out, it was half cooked, literally I could taste the batter - Yuck!
(see attached pic of world/life worst utthapam I had)
Also I noticed although it is open kitchen but hygienic practices are at worst. They use the same spatula for cleaning the sink, gas and use it to cook. I noticed a guy coming and pouring water in midway to the ground where everyone foot with slippers got dipped inside dirty water in mid kitchen. I am never coming here again. And definately you won't get a seat.
The resturent survives as it is busy traffic area and exploits...

When I politely requested them to skip the rotis and serve just one bowl of rice instead, they outright refused, saying “it's against our rules.” I understand restaurant policies, but a little empathy and basic customer care should be part of any service business — especially when it's a small and reasonable request.
Food quality = below average. Service = rude and rigid. Customer satisfaction = not their priority.
Definitely not visiting again, and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone expecting even basic courtesy or...
