Udupi Vaibhav — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Tried tiffin items for breakfast with my family.. We tasted paper masala dosa, ghee masala dosa, cheese paneer dosa, idly vada and shared rice baath( pulao). All items were tasty but dosa batter was a bit thick in my opinion. Rice baath was ok. We tried Kesari baath which was great ( right amount of sweetness!)

Lastly we tried coffee, which was good. Unique thing in this Udupi restaurant is that all ordered food is served on black plates which makes food standout.. Nice idea.

Restaurant has sufficient seating space and is well lit. Food Serving area and hand wash area were very clean. Payment is accepted in the form of UPI/Wallet/cash. I ordered orange juice for my father parcel and the price was very high and the packing also was good bot i asked them to give without ice and sugar for that they used normal tap water i asked about that for that they told it's filtered water only I don't no weather it is filtered or not after that I took parcel and went after i opened in that I saw cockroach legs and all were there suddenly I shocked and took to hotel first they saw that and it was there after seeing cockroach they first through that juice and they asked tell will make another again I asked I don't need from that tap water i need some filtered water for that they are again asking more amount this experience I got...

I think this is one of the few only places where you get South Indian breakfast items as close to what you get in the core of Bengaluru. The Idli and Vada is usually fresh and Sambar - Chutney is good. Need to try the dosas but I’ve seen them on a few people’s plates, looks decent.

While the South Indian dishes are good, the North Indian dishes are equally good, although some of the dishes don’t seem so fresh. The rotis are also sometimes not too fresh, and the breads like Naan get quickly rubbery if delivered with a delay.

Parking could get challenging in rush times, although they allow parking right in front of the restaurant so sometimes you can get lucky.
