I've visited this restaurant multiple times, and here's my take on it:
The biryani is decent, but honestly, you can find better options elsewhere for the same price.
On the other hand, the chicken curry items are pretty good. There's nothing particularly wrong with them, and they do the job.
Now, if you’re a fan of paneer, this place definitely shines in that department. Their paneer dishes are some of the best I’ve had, and I’d highly recommend trying them.
However, I did find the grilled items to be a bit on the dry side, which was disappointing. They lacked the juiciness and flavor that you’d expect from a good grill.
The shawarma, on the other hand, was surprisingly good. It's well-made.
But, here's where the experience falls short: the atmosphere. Unfortunately, this restaurant suffers from a major issue that affects the overall dining experience. The space feels incredibly cramped and suffocating, especially if you're seated near the grilling area. The constant stream of smoke from the grill makes it hard to enjoy your meal without coughing or feeling uncomfortable. The ventilation just doesn't do enough to keep the air fresh, and it's almost as if the smoke follows you no matter where you sit. It's tough to focus on your food when you're constantly distracted by the discomfort of the air quality.
I noticed that other diners were having the same issue – there was a constant stream of people waving their hands, fanning themselves, and trying to avoid the smoke. It really takes away from the experience, and it's a shame because the food could be so much more enjoyable in a better atmosphere. If the management could address this, the place would be far more pleasant, and I'd be more inclined to return.
In short, while the food has its highs and lows, the environment is the biggest drawback, and it’s something they really...
Read moreWe are not writing this review after just one visit. We have come to this restaurant many times because the food is always tasty and well-prepared. We really appreciate the kitchen staff and the quality of the food.
But the service from one waiter is very disappointing, and this has happened not just once, but multiple times.
He puts the plates down roughly on the table with a loud sound, without greeting, without manners, and without a smile. It feels like he doesn’t want to serve us at all.
Whenever we ask for something simple — onions, extra spoon, napkins, anything — we have to ask again and again, sometimes 4 or 5 times. He either ignores us or shows irritation on his face. No “okay sir”, no respect, no basic courtesy.
Because of this rude behavior, we cancelled some of our order this time. That has never happened before, but we felt too uncomfortable to continue.
Rudeness has a face — and sadly, it's him.
We like the food here and we’ve supported this place many times. But if this type of service continues, we will have to think twice before coming again. Good food should come with good behavior and respect.
We hope the management takes this seriously. The food is worth praising, but the service needs to improve — especially for regular...
Read moreI don't usually write reviews, but when I do it means the food/service deserves a little praise.
When you reach Zain Kabab Zone, first thing you might want to do is order Shawarma, the taste is really really good. If you are taking car be mindful aa there isn't much parking space. If you are lucky and there aren't much car then you might find the security guard politely guiding you to park your car.
Once inside the restaurant (this isn't spacious) you will definitely find the room filled with grill smoke. If you are not comfortable don't go in and spoil your hungry mood. The food is really worth eating. The al-faham, chilly chicken, biryani are really tasty. If you are not comfortable eating in the restaurant then do yourself a favor and order your favorite food...
