Just Bake - Bommanahalli — Restaurant in Bengaluru

'Party in a box' was a good offering in 2015 (my daughter's birthday) and we were happy with their service where they delivered all the items home 30 minutes before the party as promised. The food items were fresh and everyone enjoyed.

Going with this experience, we decided to go ahead with Just Bake, Bommannahalli for our daughter's birthday this year as well. What a DISASTER it was. The cake was a complete mess - we asked for a custom cake and they agreed and said that it would be 80% close to what we were looking for and we agreed. We insisted that we did not want the figurine on top of the cake as shown in the picture, as we had different plans. I even messaged them specifically saying that the figurine was not required and they acknowledged. However, when the cake was ready, I noticed awkward punctured holes right in the middle of the cake because they got a figurine made and it was a horrendous looking image of Rapunzel. When asked why they did that, I was told that those holes was for the figurine to stand there. The cake we ordered was White Forest and what we got was a Chocolate based cake. Also, it no where looked like a 2 Kg cake and we have images of the cakes from last year and this year and it is pretty evident that the cake was short of weight by half-a-kilo at the least. When I asked them why the cake was made this way, one of the boys there shot back at me saying that this was the reason why they would not take custom orders. Their behaviour was as if they were doing a favour and certainly not business. Just AWFUL by several means.

Now coming to the food items, the pizza was kept in a cold storage when I went to pick up the stuff I asked why would they keep it in the fridge and I was told that it would be fresh that way and I was advised to heat (microwave) every pizza before delivering to the guests. I had 40 pizzas and so one would understand the frustration when I heard what I heard. Also, this year they did not deliver home and since they delivered last year we asked them the reason why they would not deliver. They were stubborn that they never delivered anyone EVER. I was surprised to hear that since they delivered last year yet they did not remember. However, we were made to feel like we were lying to them to make them deliver even this year. It was an argument that no service provider would ever have with a customer who was initially happy with their service. Anyway, these guys did not look like as if they cared much for customer service.

The decoration items that were given this year were almost unusable as most of it were either torn or stuck to each other. The party whistle blowers were a joke as most of them did not work as they were supposed to do. Overall, no one liked either the pizza that was served as it tasted stale and dry, probably since it was kept in the fridge all day.

From a service provider who made the party a success in 2015, they came down with their service quality so bad in the last one year that I regret for having gone there. I am giving them a 1-star because the Google reviews application would not allow me to rate them either 0 or anything negative. DISASTER customer service as anything you ask leads to...

Had a horrible experience,I had visited this store on yesterday at 9:40Pm and purchased cake for my best friend birthday and paid 550rs. Then later I realized that the cake is already expired cake taste it's already gone....when we all tasted we came to know that they had sold us tasteless and expired cake... It's very shameless to the entire team of just bake really who have the intention to cheat the customers like this being a very good name at society...It was complete disappoint for me and my best friend and they really spoiled entire party mood. Finally mark my words,here onwards by seeing my review everyone will have a negative impact on u team no one will buy or order any type of cake from ur shop. If u really care for ur customer give some value to their money it's their harden money and more than a money it's their own way of giving surprise to their loved once. I don't have an intention to give 1 star rating also because there is no option to give less than...

Had a horrible experience. Ordered cake for delivery, Amount Paid and Order confirmed. After sometime get a call confirming the cake ordered is not available. Caller confirmed the store doesnt have the requisite cake and when asked if the same can be arranged from some other location he declined. He also confirmed that the Head Office people are not answering his call and asked me to get in touch with them. Irony is that the number displayed on their website is not being answered. Subsequently started chatting with them on WhatsApp and after long conversation they confirmed they will cancel and refund but the refund process will take 3 - 4 working days.

In todays digital world also this chain seems to be working in shilos.

Lets see when will they refund. But certainly a horrible experience and sad state of affairs of the customer...
