I recently visited Latika Restuarant and as a vegetarian, I was excited to try their selection of vegetarian dishes. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by a significant issue. While ordering from the vegetarian section of the menu, I was surprised and annoyed to find a fish slice in one of my dishes. This mistake was highly disappointing and made me question the restaurant's commitment to providing genuine vegetarian options.
The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and attentive throughout my visit. However, the presence of fish in my vegetarian dish was a serious oversight and a clear violation of the menu's description. It not only affected my dining experience but also left me feeling frustrated and uncertain about the quality of their food.
When I brought this issue to the attention of the server, they promptly apologized and offered to replace the dish. Although I appreciated their attempt to rectify the situation, the fact that such a mistake could happen in the first place raises concerns about the kitchen's attention to detail and the accuracy of their food preparation process.
Considering the vegetarian dish was otherwise well-prepared and flavorful, it is disheartening that this mistake overshadowed the overall dining experience. As a vegetarian, I place great importance on trust and transparency when it comes to the food I consume, and incidents like this one undermine that trust.
I understand that mistakes can happen in any restaurant, but when it comes to dietary preferences like vegetarianism, it is crucial for restaurants to ensure the accuracy of their menu descriptions and the integrity of their dishes. Regrettably, my experience at Latika Restuarant left me feeling frustrated and unlikely to return in the future.
If the restaurant can take necessary steps to prevent such mistakes from occurring and demonstrates a genuine commitment to vegetarian options, it might be worth giving it another chance. However, until then, I would caution fellow vegetarians to exercise caution when dining at Latika Restuarant.

Read moreWent for dinner last night , got cheated by the restaurant, the server barely listens to your orders and instead brings you stuff which you haven't ordered, they have mentioned two prices for the same item " Roti @10 ₹ and Chapati @15 ₹ which I didn't notice and after ordering myself roties they instead charged me the higher priced chapatis , they started giving a nonsense excuse that rotis are available for parcel only, besides that, the restaurant is badly maintained the washroom has no lights, taps are aren't working properly and the food quality is very average compared to the price. That's why i wondered how come a restaurant is completely is empty at a Sunday night, coincidence? I don't think so? I hope people read this before visiting this place or ordering online from here, the lobby boy, sitting in the reception downstairs ( seems aged 25-27) is an absolute customer cheater.
