Mad Moose - Artisan Gelato — Restaurant in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

This place just speaks fun from the moment you enter . There are carom boards , zenga blocks , glass ball thingies and loads of other games to play while you enjoy your food with your friends or loved ones . Its completely different experience than any ice cream parlour that I ever visited .

Also , did I say the ice cream tastes awesome too ! They cater really high quality gelato and sundaes ( one the best in bhubaneswar ) .

The whole staff team here is very friendly and never forget to serve with a smile .

The prices are well justified for the the quality of the food they serve .

So yeah good food + affordable price + fun games + awesome staff = a very unique experience that can only be found here and nowhere else .

A must visit for ice cream lovers and also for people who like to spend some brainstorming or leisure time in a fun and colourful atmosphere .

P.S. : There is Baskin Robins across the street . I don’t see any reason to go there now unless you are a die hard BR fan or something because it serves the same ice cream minus all other factors I mentioned above and also a higher price . Its funny looking at the Baskin Robins vendor in a very small 10x20 mt sqr unit which easily gets crowded when more than two people enter at once . Seriously ! You are supposed to be the largest ice cream chain in the freaking world .

Just an average place, no adoption of new technology, still making whipped cream manually. Their staff and behavior is good. They once changed a shake which I really hated and couldn't drink. Another time, they customised a menu item for me. One can have acceptable and decent shakes at relatively low prices here.

Couple of things I don't like here:-

There are too much of brownie pieces in nearly every sundae! I mean, who puts brownie in hot chocolate fudge?!? And that too, in such a huge amount that it starts to look/taste like a brownie sundae rather than a hot chocolate fudge.

They serve Hot Chocolate in plastic glass. It's common sense that you don't serve hot liquid food items in plastic containers, as, if even a bit of plastic melts, it will be dangerous for health.

There is a lack of space and proper seats with tables. This is also in comparison to the 'Cream Berry' icecream and shake parlour, in the lane opposite to this, where there is ample of space and seats and tables.

The shakes are not very thick. I am not complaining here, but again, this is when compared to just near by 'Cream Berry'. I find shakes there...

I have been visiting this place on many occasions lately this place has just got my attention.It is an awesome place.Great interiors with lots of games which can played.Actually I never thought gelato could be so much tasty and at the same time Less in fat.Made by use of custard, milk, cream etc but Completely veg.They dont even use egg in it... It just great that you can have it even on your fasting days.Perfect natural flavours.And definitely Odisha's first ever gelato based ice cream store.Far far better than normal ice cream.Must visit n try the awesome n satisfying gelatos i have tried tiramishu,raspberry cheese cake, whisky,bubble gum,French vanilla and even paan for me Raspberry cheesecake is just great.Just out of curiosity I asked how the paan was prepared the guy said they use betel leaves along with other ingredients which are used in making of normal paan.i would definitely suggest this place if you are carving for great quality gelatos and the service is also great staff are pretty courteous and friendly in...
