Perfect for a chill hangout and casual dine. A good experience overall. Recommend - Starters were good: nizami chicken (5/5), cream prawn (4/5), american corn (5/5). Main course good: Naan, tikka butter masala (4.5/5), classic chicken chilly (3.5/5 - was a bit on sweeter side). Drinks (non alcoholic) - sundowner (5/5). - definite recommend. Desserts - 3/5 (tres leches, brownie) - below avg while the look was good.

They have own brewery - 10 varieties of beer. Beer testing is available.

It won't be in the fine dine category. Best described as fine-casual or upscale-casual. A relaxed and casual vibe.

Parking: Streetside parking available. They have Valet service, Valet mostly parks your car on a probably designated road side parking area. Valet sometimes may ask for tips.

Washroom: were kept clean.

Ambience: They have indoor and roof top setting. Both seem good. Rooftop remains bit on darker side - suitable for some. If chance of raining, take indoor seating so you don't have to change table if it rains. Ambience was simple (as can be seen in google photos) - no exaggeration, more classy which i liked.

Note: Since the hall itself isn't very huge, management should try to make sure any group seating inside should maintain minimum decorum and not be very noisy. During our visit, there was a group of ~10 which were too noisy laughing as if they are in an open field. Visitors can also be mindful about minimum etiquettes to not disturb their co-diners. In the end, everybody is there to have a good dine among friends and family - bon vivant 🫡.

Most suitable for- friends, couples, group of couples. Positioning is towards Young crowds. Doesn't have a proper family vibe - but families who are okay or wants to enjoy this vibe should feel fine here.

Pricing: On expensive side. 3 of is had a bill on the higher side of 3.5k, but we consider ourselves gourmand 😅 to some extent. Desserts particularly felt below avg - restaurant can...

Worst Dining Experience at Saami Seafood Restaurant

If you’re considering a visit to Saami Seafood Restaurant, situated above Central Honda, Unit 9 in Bhubaneswar, I strongly advise against it. My recent visit during lunch hour was nothing short of disastrous. Despite the rooftop being completely empty, we waited 15 minutes before our order was taken. The service was agonizingly slow, with our food arriving nearly an hour after ordering – at 2:25 PM.

We ordered a mutton thali and a chicken thali, priced at 500 and 350 rupees respectively. The mutton thali included three small pieces of mutton, half a potato, a small bowl of dal, a small bowl of methi dal, chips, khajur khata, two slices of cucumber, and a limp papad. The food was not hot and the rice portion was inadequate. When I requested extra rice, I waited another 30 minutes before canceling the order out of frustration.

The chicken thali was identical to the mutton thali, with the only difference being the meat. Disappointingly, the chicken was undercooked. When we raised these issues with the manager, his response was a nonchalant apology, promising better service next time – a promise I won’t be giving them a chance to fulfill.

Adding to the misery, there is no parking available, and they had the audacity to charge 40 rupees for a bottle of Bisleri water, which is above the MRP. When I pointed this out, the manager’s indifferent attitude was infuriating.

Do not be misled by Instagram reels or bloggers painting a rosy picture of this place. My experience at Saami Seafood Restaurant was the worst I've ever had, and I strongly discourage anyone from visiting. Save your time, money, and sanity – avoid this restaurant...

9.08.2024 ,FRIDAY,around 14:45pm,Dine In-D12 ,Bill no 4795,Token no. 38,46,50??.Cashier-Srimanta.My husband and myself ordered for 1 Special Oriya Thali. After waiting for nearly 30 mins, got our food, ABSOLUTELY COLD, only paneer kofta curry was freshly prepared so that was hot.Above all papad was soggy.Called for the attendant. Complained about food, then he said sorry sir, will heat it again n bring. Meantime were thought lets have paneer kofta because we were really VERY HUNGRY.We had almost finished with the kofta dish, Naan was served. Some how we managed that. Waiting, waiting, waiting, after nearly 35 to 40 mins again the same food was served which had gone ONLY TO BE WARMED , where a few eateries were missing. We were not told anything about what was missing. Only dal, rice, saag and Half papad ,cold veggies was served.I felt uneasy that something is missing.Checked n called the attendant and asked.ONLY when we asked he said ,yes few things were missing. I asked him why, he gave me a silly reason that it had got over so it was not served. But where did our eateries go from that plate when we didnot even touch it on the plate. Sounds very STUPID. But its TRUE. Both of us compromised with what we were served. Then we asked for the bill, then they were trying to convince us and pamper us with complementary juice n stuff. They were irritating me with all of their complementary things n " give some discount to ma'am on her bill. "I said enough of this PLEASE STOP ALL THIS and get my bill. I SIMPLY PAID rs 450 and left that place. My 1st experience in SAAMI and MY LAST VISIT. will not recommend to anyone. SORRY. I AM HAPPY I DON'T have anything of...

I went to Saami hearing rave reviews about the place and got disappointed pretty badly. Initial Impressions : I reached at 8pm sharp with my wife on 23rd , didn't get a seat at the terrace. We ordered Luchi and Mutton keema, the waiter came back and said not available. We had ordered Prawn Koliwada and recieved Chicken tikka in the starters, it was corrected but I am just highlighting the service. Food Review: Starters Ordered were Prawn Koliwada and Calamari item in starters. Main Course Ordered were Garlic Naan, Luchi & Methi Murg. My Views : Calamari was honestly well cooked and the seasoning was nice. The chutney was complimenting the taste of the fried calamri and it actually tasted nice. Cost 440/- Rating : 4/5 Prawn Koliwada was Bad , such small size of prawns and felt like they were just dipped in corn flour marination and fried. Zero taste. Waste of money. Cost 440/- Rating : 1/5 : Luchi, Naan and Methi Murg were disappointing as well. No butter applied on butter, it was extremely hard and felt bad. My wife skipped having it. Luchi was good but for 4 luchi they are taking 180 which is very expensive. Methi Murg was loaded with Amul Cream and had no taste of its own, the chicken pieces were not well cooked and tasted raw, the gravy was extremely salty as well. Ambience was decent and service was good otherwise, it's unnecessarily hyped and expensive. I will visit again just to try out Bengali dishes as claimed they are good. Methi Murg Rs 350 (2/5) Luchi Rs 180 for 4 (3.5/5) Garlic Naan Rs80 (0/5) Overall experience was like a 4/10.
