Silver Stick-The Jewels of Food and Coffee — Restaurant in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

If you want to have some real good Chinese food in Bhubaneswar at a very reasonable and pocket friendly price, then this is definitely the place to be.The ambience of the restaurant is like that of a cafe, but the service, hospitality and above all the food is outstanding. You may not get the upmarket Chinese ambience or feel as in something like Mainland China, but the food is definitely to die for. In the starters, I just loved the Chicken Panfried momos and the Drumstick chicken. And in the main course, Garlic chicken and Kungpao chicken were equaly relishing.In prawns, Butter garlic prawn was something to remember and so were the other prawn dishes. But the Mixed Sezwan fried rice and mixed Hong Kong noodles needed to be more authentic and up to the mark. The waiters or the guest attendant executives deserve full marks for carefully serving one course after the other throughout the meal and the manager is equally helpful. Only negative point is that it does not have the feel and ambience of a Chinese food restaurant, resembling more like an average coffee house. Silver stick, previously known as the China hut, is located opposite to the BMC bhawani mall. Went there one afternoon to grab some bites. Ordered veg and chicken spring rolls for starters. They were decent, but a bit too oily. For main course we ordered Non veg triple fried rice, veg fried rice, chilly paneer and garlic n pepper chicken. First they had forgot to add egg and chicken to the "NON-VEG" triple fried rice😂. So they took it back and added those. The chilly paneer and chicken garlic pepper were cooked in the same sauce and tasted exactly the same. You'll hardly distinguish the taste of the gravies. The non veg fried rice tasted decent. Their service was slow and to be honest, was terrible. The overall experience was bad and I personally wouldn't suggest...

I being a frequent comer starting from Silver streak to silver stick today very disappointed with the quality of food and the attitude and behavior of their staff.. we ordered 6 different items out of which only efu noodle and one chicken dish was good, rest all were pathetic. It lost it’s charm.. coming to the staff part I being a corporate customer the waiter attended us promised a 10% discount which was denied by the cashier Atish .. he was neither polite nor professional.. even he was shouting at one waiter while we were dining at their restaurant. The other staffs were good other than the cashier.. If the restaurant manager is reading this take a call correct this, seriously u r loosing your year...
