Silver Streak Premium — Restaurant in Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation

I would have rated 3 ⭐ or 4 ⭐ if not for the Teriyaki chicken and rice. The Chicken Lung Fung Soup is delicious. The Non veg mixed fried rice was my favorite, the shrimps were so good in it. Now, the Chicken Tsing is overrated, it tastes like an ordinary chicken in sauce gravy, nothing new, doesn't leave a lasting impression. But the worst was the Teriyaki chicken, which btw doesn't resemble Japanese cuisine in any way possible. It's way too sweet and is served dry on butter sauteed rice, which tastes horrible. And you get six thin chicken strips and a small portion of distasteful rice for 400. However, the rice was exchanged with Schezwan fried rice (which was really good) when we complained, so credit where it is due : excellent customer service.

Now here's the thing, Continental and Chinese cuisine like this is popular, because it is meant to be cheap, and that's because the food mainly comprises chunks of meat or veggies stir fried in pre-made sauces. If you're an upscale Continental restaurant, the customer would hope their food is a notch or two above the cheap takeaway places, but that isn't the case here. The majestic ambience and interior designing simply doesn't make up...

I have recently visited @silverstreakpremiumbbsr for lunch.... being a Chinese lover,I have tried many Chinese restaurant in BBSR but truly this is one of my favourite restaurant... The restaurant decor based on Chinese theme..The restaurant ambiance is very nice... Food qwality is also good..Main highlighted part in this restaurant is there staffs are very humble and well trained... They have also small place for arranging a birthday party or anything else...

I have tried there : Crispy fried Finger Chicken - 5/5 (must try) Pan Fried Chilli Fish - 5/5 (must try) Gangtok momo - 3/5 ( not upto the level) Singapore mix noodles - 5/5 Hunan Chicken - 5/5

Must visit this place,also remember they don't have any parking so, come earlier in weekend for parking 😀 in busy road..

I will be honest, I was very reluctant to go inside by just seeing this restaurant from outside. But Damn! When I went in I was awestruck with exquisite interior. Lot of varieties in menu, authentic Chinese and Thai food. Lemon Coriander soup was lovely. Mix Chicken Prawn fried rice was also amazing. Chicken lollipop could have been better. Staff were very humble and supportive. They did not insist us for Regular size instead of Small looking at our ability, unlike others. I hate when Restaurants in Bhubaneswar scam like this. I am impressed! Straight 5 star for Silver Streak Staff. Major downside is problem for car parking as it is in busy street. But this should not decrease their ratings. Please Like if you find...
