Moti Mahal Delux Restaurant Gaya — Restaurant in Bihar

I ordered three chicken biryanis and a chicken chili for pickup. While the chicken chili was good, the biryani was terrible. It was clear that they had used refrigerated rice from previous days and simply fried it. The rice was hard, lacked masala, and had no flavor. We ended up throwing most of it away.

I called the restaurant to complain, and the chef admitted that the junior chef had mistakenly used leftover rice and passed it off as biryani. They assured me it wouldn’t happen again, but the damage was already done—it completely ruined our lunch.

What’s most amusing is that I asked the waiter before ordering food if the biryani was fresh and made today, and he blatantly lied to my face, claiming it was. Bizarre!

Based on this experience, I would never recommend anyone in Gaya to visit or order food from this restaurant.

Update: I am amazed to see the response from the restaurant to my complaint. If this is your strategy for handling customer complaints, you are setting yourself up for failure. Instead of using the word “false,” I recommend talking to your manager to understand the issue and ensure it doesn't happen to others. I have attached the bill for...

"Naam bade, Darshan chhote" First of all, we ordered some dish and were given something else. On asking to change the dish, the waiter started arguing with me. Had it been some other eatery, it wouldn't have been the same treatment though. And after so much of reluctance they changed my dish. But while serving the dish, used "Sarcasm". This is all time low coming from a reputed restaurant. And on top of that, to avenge their mistake as ours, put sand and tiny stones in our food. The whole ambience was ruined because of that. People go to spend some quality time at restaurant but this is what you get at the so called " Moti Mahal Delux restaurant ". Never visiting again, nor recommending anyone"
