Secret Shawarma | Best Shawarma in Patna — Restaurant in Bihar

Good taste. After a few shawarmas in town that taste so bland and extra spiced ones, this one was refreshingly close to what it should taste like. The price and the quality, both are at the right mark.

They do have some shakes but the place lacks additions in the area of mocktails/drinks to go with.The service & the atmosphere could be taken a notch up but I agree that those things do usually take sometime to catch up.

They have a good thing going for them and I hope it can continue to be on the right track. This would probably be one of my favorite go to places for Shawarma now..

I rarely order Chicken Shawarma because I have had many disappointing experiences with Shawarma joints be it in Kolkata or Delhi.

I decided to order Chicken Shawarma from Secret Shawarma today after hearing from my friends and seeing their review on Google Maps. Along with the order of three Shawarmas, I got a complimentary drink as well. The usual servings of mayo and tandoori mint chutney was also there.

It was pleasantly surprising to have a Chicken Shawarma which was fresh and juicy. It made my day and everyone else at home liked it too. I hope that the owners would not compromise quality and taste for the sake of incremental profits as it has been the case with many reputed outlets in the past.

Chicken shawarma: was good in taste. But it isn’t the actual shawarma which is slow roasted & is super juicy. There wasn’t any smoky taste or juiciness or minced meat like a shawarma. Also, added a lot of onion so it tasted more of onion than chicken. There were dry chunks of chicken. It felt like I was eating dry fibrous chicken tikka shreds. I wonder how it had a rating of 4.3 on Swiggy.

Chicken nuggets: they burnt it totally. I didn’t have time to follow up with restaurant or Swiggy. So left them. I ate one, it was also very dry. Though taste was okayish apart from the extra burnt flavour and texture.
