The Chhayaghar Cafe — Restaurant in Bolpur

The ambience is good. Though the cafe is on smaller side, it's on the open rooftop. Food quality is good too. I got sandwiches last time and it was pretty fulfilling. Tea is also good. Another positive thing is they give you sugar-free tea and a bowl with crushed suger to add as per your convenience. One negative side is it's not quiet. You'd hear various songs being sung there by the people who get together for dinner or evening delights. Low space and low number of tables and chairs are also huge negatives. Last but not the least, you have to climb a set of narrow stairs to get up to the rooftop.

Too good to hang up with friends and family. A nice creative food station. Limited foods are provided. The food menu is small but the taste is awesome. Specially, plain Dosa, Masala Dosa and milk coffee are really mouth watering. Morning timing is 10 am onwards. Evening timing 5pm onwards. Occasionally they organise musical evenings which is also mood refreshing.
