Bangabala-The Cafe & Eating House — Restaurant in Bolpur

So we visited Prantik few days earlier and we were lucky enough that we found this cafe , it was too good specially the owner of the cafe he was one of nicest person we met during our visit ☺️ We had lunch , snack and dinner there and tbh according to price it was woryhy , it was affordable+ the quantity of food was lot . For lunch we had egg fried rice and chicken karhai , we wanted some alteration with our portions for the fried rice so he actually considered it and did that for us which was a really nice gesture.... For snacks we had egg chowmin it was delicious too and for dinner we had butter naan and chicken butter masala it was our personal favourite. Honestly not at all recommended unless they really read reviews and work on it. We want to support small restaurants but they must really make efforts !! Place needs more light and more staff. Prompt service missing. I understand it's probably new setup plus less budget, but still I suggest you improve on food TASTE. Chinese is horrible. Bengali cuisine is tasty but average but watery. Needs more thick gravies and more koshano of the items properly to bring in the taste. They are making efforts I believe so I suggest they really work more on lighting, sitting, the wash basin area and food quality taste please. Overall nice behaviour and also listens to requests. Good place to hang out with your friends. Food is good but can be better (imo). Service is good. Although, number of staff should increase in due time.

However, the atmosphere is pretty good. There is a sense of calmness here. I would definitely recommended this place.

Edit 1: On my 4th visit, I tried their Masala Dosa. It was okayish, I would say. The place was full of people. However, I was disappointed with their service. They took almost 20+ minutes to serve Tea which in my opinion should be faster.

They really need to increase the number of staff.
