Umul–The Himalayan Cafe — Restaurant in Bolpur

I visited Umul – The Himalayan Café in Bolpur this Diwali, and it turned out to be a really wonderful place. The café is open, spacious, and beautifully set up — perfect for relaxing and spending quality time. I ordered a cup of coffee priced at ₹20 and a plate of Kurkure Veg Momos for ₹110. Both tasted absolutely delicious, fresh, and well-prepared.

I stayed there for quite some time in the evening, enjoying the calm and cozy atmosphere. The vibe of the place is peaceful, and it’s a great spot for hanging out with friends or just sitting alone with your thoughts. I loved how clean and well-maintained everything was.

Reaching the café was also easy — Google Maps showed the location accurately, and I followed it to get there without any trouble. The cafe ambiance is good. Soothing and friendly. All over the cafe is painted with nice and decorative abstract hand paintings. Lamp shades are also giving a cool effect inside. Smoking is allowed inside. But as the cafe is airy and bamboo wall panel is used to made the surrounding walls , so, others are not affected that much.

Different types of food are available there. I loved the one named Veg cheese mushroom momo. Another new starter is available there named Caramelized Fried Potato. I like it but it'll test better without the Sesame seeds spreaded over the caramelized fried potato. Coffee was normal, but red tea was also good.

Everyone should visit the place and have some food. You will love the place...

Nice ambiance. Very good place to visit with friends. Food taste is good. Their signature dish is noodles and momo. Chili momo and sezwan momo must try.It's a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming but food aren't. (Chilli chicken was not properly cooked)

Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
