My wife and I had dinner at Carry on Tomato's & Mirch Masala Restaurant yesterday, and it was an incredibly disappointing experience. The restaurant's cleanliness was severely lacking, and to our horror, we discovered a rat inside the premises, which was even seen roaming near our legs during our meal. We immediately brought this issue to the attention of the staff, but they showed no concern or urgency in addressing the problem.
The lack of hygiene and the presence of a rodent inside the restaurant were major red flags for us. As a result of this unfortunate incident, both of us fell ill and experienced stomach infections the following morning. This kind of negligence and unclean environment in a supposedly reputable and well-known restaurant is simply unacceptable.
We expected a pleasant dining experience, but instead, we encountered a health hazard. The management's disregard for customer safety and well-being is deeply disheartening. Such blatant disregard for hygiene and customer satisfaction raises serious questions about their commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for their patrons.
We strongly advise others to exercise caution and avoid dining at Tomatoes Restaurant until they address these critical issues and take the necessary measures to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of their establishment. Customer health and safety should be the utmost priority for any reputable restaurant.
We sincerely hope that our feedback serves as a wake-up call for the management to rectify these concerns and improve...
Read moreI had high hopes walking into this new collaborative setup between Mirch Masala and Tomatoes – both well-regarded in their individual cuisines. The ambiance was welcoming, the setup well-designed, and the staff was extremely courteous throughout. Hygiene and cleanliness were well-maintained, and ample parking made the visit convenient.
We ordered a mix from both menus – Chicken Black Bean from the Chinese section (likely from Tomatoes) and two Indian combos: Chicken Makhani with Paratha and Dal Makhani with Rice.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the expectations. The Chicken Black Bean was decent, but the Indian gravies were far from what they should have been. The flavors were off, the taste didn’t feel authentic, and it left us quite disappointed. Given the legacy of both brands, I was expecting a lot better.
While everything else – service, setup, hygiene – was spot on, the core aspect, which is the food, failed to impress. I’m not sure if I’d revisit, at least not until there’s a serious improvement on the Indian...
Read moreExcellent experience. New concept of serving food at the restaurant even while dining in disposable cutlery. Although that is the only option and still they charge some extra amount for it, but it can be neglected considering hygeine aspect. Food super tasty & lives upto the name of tomatoes & mirch masala. We ordered Mac n Cheese, Sabji Makhani Combo & Thai Green Curry Bowl. Mac n Cheese Q&Q was perfect. Definitely the best we have ever tasted in Bopal. Thai green curry & vegetable makahni sabji tasted super delicious. Just one thing that could be improved is the quantity of sabji & the curry. Special thanks to owner Abhishek, who helped us with spot on suggestions & also took our review after dinner. They accept dineout as well. All in all we had a wonderful time. Definitely would...
