Read moreI was really looking forward to visiting this place, given the recent hype created by local food bloggers, but it turned out to be a major downer. The ambience: Probably the only good thing about this place is the ambience which reminds you of classic Chandigarh feels. The food: The menu is extremely basic like something out of a 90’s cafe - wraps/ sandwiches/ burgers …. I ordered a paneer tikka sandwich and a veg delight wrap (on recommendation of the staff!) The paneer in the sandwich was raw stuck between 2 pieces of regular bread, held on by a sub-standard green chatni…(guys come on!). The plate was strewn with 3 different chips (possibly left over from multiple plates)
The wrap was basically a store bought tortilla with a frozen aloo tikki and commercial mayonnaise . Again served with some frozen fries. This was called a veg DELIGHT!
Coffee was terrible and probably brewed from some cheap commercial beans.
The pricing: Ok now here is where things get really interesting. The bad paneer tikka sandwich - approx Rs 450 Veg delight wrap - approx Rs 350 Two terrible coffees - another Rs 500
Recommendation to the owners: please focus on food quality and your menu. A nice place can not make do...
Read moreNew place in town but personally the prices don't justify the food quality.
To start with. Generally, price is not an issue for me, if you are able to justify it. The prices are in range of premium Chandigarh outlets, which I understand they aspire to be. But, you need to work on your quality first.
This is a Vegan outlet. So no non-vegetarian options available. They do write "Plant Based Chicken". But no person who eats non-vegetarians ever has loved those words.
Being limited in options, I decided to try their Farm Pizza. Which is average at best. If you are competing at that price range your clear competition in city are Rojo sector 10 and James Oliver in Elante Mall, and they are serving far superior quality.
Lastly, the owner brought the bill and POS machine. She started to enter the amount without showing the bill, on this I said "Can I at least see the bill first". To which a blunt answer came "WAIT". Well, in the hospitality business, courtesy is everything. Definitely an Attitude problem.
Anyway, You can visit for the sake of Hype but they do need to work on their food quality...
